I actually loled reading that one myself.
I had to go to the ER right before thanksgiving. I was concerned about wait times so I called two ERs which said “we’re so overwhelmed we can’t even predict how long until you’d be seen” I had to go so I said screw it... showed up and I was the ONLY person besides staff that I saw. The nurses and doctors told me “they’re over it”. A combo of 5 nurses / doctors watched the least exciting thing be done to my hand because they were BORED. I was in and out in an hour.

I’m definitely going to start taking your approach with the calm and collected conversation with people that are reasonable enough to have that conversation. As soon as I started (yelling) the facts similar to the ones you stated above she just screamed out “oh fuck you!!!!” So there was no reasonable conversation to be had BUT the folks around us chimed in saying “hey there’s kids here!” And “don’t go outside if you’re so afraid!” “Omg I have the China virus run!!!” And a couple fake coughs thrown in there. So there is definitely hope, we just need to keep resisting.
The fear that parents are instilling in their children with the masks alone is terrible. I had to go to the ER a month ago and ended up having a fifteen minute conversation with the PA about how detrimental every aspect of covid is to our children. It breaks my heart.

You sir, are correct. I was just trying to point the fact out that even with a doctors note Gov. Cooper has stated it's still mandated, absolutely absurd. Would I listen? Hell to the no. Do I wear a mask anywhere "mandated"? Nope.
Oh yah, I'm over anyone or any establishment telling me to muzzle up. I won't support you if you ask me to put a mask on or have an absurd "NO MASK NO ENTRY" sign. Happy to take my hard earned money elsewhere.
