Good experience! Was in line with a retired couple behind me. The gentleman was saying that he first campaigned for Eisenhower when he was 6 years old. He did up his bike with red, white, and blue streamers and rigged up a string of beer cans as a noisemaker. The fellow said he made the local paper.
He went on to say he had a chance to serve a drink to Mamie Eisenhower, when he was stationed at a military base. (Fort...something...) He had the chance to tell Mrs. Eisenhower about how he made the papers as a 6 year old campaigner for Ike. How cool is that!
My mom is elderly. She doesn't like the big pickups either. She's not scared of them, she just thinks they are a bit obnoxious.
I could see some lib putting words in my mom's mouth saying she was scared. Mom would have some choice words for that lib. And they wouldn't be nice.
It will go a lot like this project went:

Yes and no.
More like, you can tell things are not going well. You see the warning signs. And you try to fix it. You do what you can to make it better. But the damage is done.
When the moment comes that you discover it, it still really sucks. You realize leaving is your only choice. But it isn't a 100 percent surprise. You thought about it before because shit wasn't going well.
But now you're dealing with not only the betrayal, but also how your options have been cut. There's no going back now. It's already been decided - and it hasn't been decided by you. All you can do now is go.
