The OP is correct. The proper response from Cruz should have been "It was 45 degrees inside my house with no electricity or water. Of course I got my family out of town. Why the fuck would I force them to sit cold in the dark? What'd you think this storm was some kind of punishment that everyone has an equal responsibility to endure? You'd have to be an idiot to stay in the middle of a natural disaster if you have the means to remove yourself. I did my best to get my family to a safe location; just as every husband and father should."

Instead he made the mistake of apologizing, put himself on the defense and now they are just pounding him. Never apologize.

They are not. Literally no one is currently trying to overturn the election. Not going to happen.

I believe I read Cohen is in 2.8 billion. I don't know if that includes the 1 billion bailout from yesterday. I think he's worth 16 billion before this WSB stuff started.

There's no sex trafficking division of the DEA. There may be a task force somewhere in the country with DEA agents in it that are working on sex trafficking cases. There is no way there were 350 agents in the country working on sex trafficking in the DEA. 250 agents is the size of the entire Los Angeles Field Office.

This is true, which means his behavior makes him a foreign enemy of the state.

It's the narrative I go with ... because it's true. Assange and Snowden should rot in a prison.

Other things that have to be done by order: No transgenders in the military, the wall built on the southern border, the Durham Report, the intelligence community report on election interference, etc

Still waiting.

Someone should mention to Biden that this is a clear-cut violation of Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. If you're "prioritizing" every race, but one, you're just discriminating against the race you left out. You don't need to be Perry Mason to apply that legal analysis.

They are pushing protests at state capitols because they are terrified Trump will pardon the Jan 6 protesters ... and they want to be able to bring state charges on as many conservatives as possible.

This is wrong (by like a decade at least). The first reality TV celebrities were the kids from the original Real World and that was on the air in 1992.

"I won't believe that video was a real concession until after January 20th." <--- Jesus Christ, you're stupid.

If he signed it, it's law. There's 1998 case law ruling the line-item veto (which is what the President drawing a red line through something and saying "I don't like this") is unconstitutional - Clinton v. City of New York - it nullified the 1996 law congress passed granting the President line-item veto powers.

It's not untrue. It's not my fault everyone on TheDonald believes they know some super-secret Constitutional clause or law from 80 years ago that lets Trump ignore the legislative process. You either sign the bill (the entire bill), veto the bill (the entire bill), or do not sign the bill (the pocket veto) - there is no other option.

They are going to do nothing for 23 days, blame the delay on Trump (with help in the media), then give credit to Biden for delivering the checks on Jan 21.
