my dad recommends the shotgun because of the spread. First time you use it, you're chest will get bruised, but that's normal, you'll be fine. I recommend you get a hand-gun as well, .45 is my favorite handgun. The shotgun, because of it's spread, it accurate at close range, but for obvious reasons, terrible at far range but you shouldn't worry since they themselves will probably be at close range since these little shits never visited a gun range in their life. The shotgun also has different ammo types, one of which is the slug, which allows you to burst a hole in the wall.
