When are we assembling, Patriots?! When will we say enough?!

I am a nurse, my son is 3 years old, and we live in Mass. (I know, that’s my fault. I am currently researching areas and saving to purchase my first home in a red suburban area). I have to wear a mask with my career of choice- there is no way around that. But my heart aches seeing my son have to wear his mask. I hardly enforce it, and although my son is three and the MA mandate states any child over the age of two must wear a mask in public, I usually get away with him not wearing one. However, he is very tall, growing fast, and the time is coming when “they” will try to enforce it more upon him. My current approach is I haven’t taught him much about it, but if we have to go to a store or something, I will have him wear it. If he takes it off, I usually am able to keep it off. However, the less I teach my son about “mask etiquette”, the more harassment I know he will have to go through about wearing it properly. Even when the President is elected, I am unsure if blue states will truly ease up on lockdown restrictions and Covid mandates. Would love to hear other pedes’ thoughts and/or experiences. Thank you.

This man really is indestructible! I worked the Covid unit at a local nursing home for months through the height of Massachusetts’ outbreak and witnessed personally how the virus attacked pretty much anyone over the age of 50. I, myself, got the virus. I’m 25, female, no comorbidities, and let me tell you pedes- it knocked me down. I fortunately didn’t have any respiratory symptoms, but the extreme fatigue alone put me on my ass for at least a week. I am not going to lie- I was very nervous to hear the President’s diagnosis and feared for how he would be able to handle it. But he is THRIVING. I listened to every presser the President’s physicians had while he was under the care of Walter Reed, and based on the clinical findings they shared, the President presented with an extremely, extremely mild case of the virus, which was just so unbelievable to me. GEOTUS is a warrior. I can confirm through my own experience with Covid that the President is now in the clear and can live without fear of contracting this virus again.

The following is something I’ve wanted to share for a very long time, but have been fearful due to my career and backlash as I live in a very blue state (MA). I need to add that I know there is much scientific debate about immunity towards the virus. There is debate about transmission of the virus. I, personally, contracted Covid 19 while wearing full PPE - goggles, surgical cap, surgical hazmat suit, n95, surgical mask on top of n95, and a face shield. My facility is located in a city that began to see spikes in cases. As a result, the state ordered all Skilled Nursing Facilities to be tested by the national guard, regardless of if the facility had anyone presenting with Covid symptoms or not. My facility, including staff and patients, only presented with symptoms of the virus about 4 days to a week AFTER everyone was mandated to be “tested” by the national guard. About 80% of our staff was symptomatic, had to go through quarantine, and we lost ~30 of ~120 patients. The spreading like wildfire of the virus only AFTER the national guard tested us all unfortunately really makes you wonder if the test kits had been tampered with... after seeing how many of the republican’s and presidents personal staff have now become positive, I cannot help thinking the same thing may have happened here. I would really love connect and to hear if any other medical pedes have had a similar experience, as it is difficult to find people with an open mind willing to hear the truth and to discuss such a thing with in Massachusetts. Since recovering, I admit I have been way more lax about PPE, seeing as I contracted the virus, anyway while being fully “protected”. I am someone who had the virus months ago and I still get exposed a least weekly, yet I have continued to test negative, which is the same with my peers. Once the full fourteen days have passed since the president’s positive test, I have little to no doubt that the President will ever be symptomatic again. Yes, this is my own medical opinion, but from what I’ve experienced, I believe he is now immune to the China virus! All hail God Emperor of The United States. We love you. We are so proud of you. We are thankful, and will stand by you NO MATTER WHAT. 4 more years! I love you, pedes!
