Im Canadian, I live in Toronto. My mom was a doctor at North York General Hospital, my uncle, was a doctor in Poland, Canada and he now currently practices medicine in the US. Ive been around medicine my entire life, on both sides of the border. I have an inside connection because of my family, meaning I can get appts and shit faster than many people, and I still think the medical system here is shit.
My grandmother broke her wrist a few years ago, we waited in emergency for 8 hours, BECAUSE IT WAS THE WEEKEND and only emergency was available to her, doctors are closed on the weekends. Thats what happens here. The weekends and nights emergency is fucking rammed.
So we waited 8 hours to find out she had a broken wrist then had to come back the next day for the bone to be set and a cast put on, because IT WAS THE WEEKEND and there were no doctors who could do setting and cast.....
I personally have waited in the emergency room with a kidney stone for 6 hours in intense pain, and when I got inside, all they did was give me a shot and say drink water.
I also suffered from crippling anxiety for much of my life. I went to tons of doctors and therapists that were covered by OHIP (ontario health insurace plan) and never got better. In fact I had one doctor who in the middle of our appointment answered her phone and was making travel plans with her travel agent for about 20 mins.
A few years ago my financial situation improved and I was able to afford a private therapist..... My anxiety is gone completely. 20+ years of govt covered doctors couldnt fix me. 3 months of private doctor, fixed my life completely.
My dad and his brother share a family doc. Dr Brain Taylor, Keele Street Toronto (just so you know Im not lying lol) My dad went to him for a fucking year complaining that he had a hernia. The doc kept telling him he didnt, it was nothing, he didnt have to worry. Until my dad ended up in the emergency room, pissing blood....
The emergency doctors then told him, he did in fact have a hernia and it almost killed him because it was blocking off his ability to piss.
My dads brother (same doctor) lost mobility in his right hand, went to the doctor thinking he may have had a stroke. The doctor told him he didnt, gave him some physio and he regained some movement in his hand, then had another issue where he lost his mobility again. Went to the doctor, told him, I think you might be wrong, I think these are strokes Im having. Doctor still says no.
He went to the hospital for a scan, for something completely unrelated and the doctors are like... Uhhh sir, you know you have had 2 strokes? So the doctor was wrong.
They cant get different doctors, because the govt has flooded toronto with so many immigrants, there are not enough doctors to go around, making changing doctors almost impossible, so they are stuck with this garbage doctor.
Ironically, I went to see him once and he was the doc who referred me to the doc who was making travel plans during our appt, I mentioned earlier. LoL.
Oh and also, this guy isnt Jewish but he takes off all the Jewish holidays lol.
You think doctors like this would survive in the US? NEVER. But because Canadas system is stretched so thin, shit doctors like this fall through the cracks.
I dont want people with out money to not get treatment, I empathize with them, however the Canadian system emphasizes exactly wahts wrong with socialism..... Everyone gets care, but its fucking SHIT care.
I would take the US system 100x over Canadas.

We went from having 1 Chinatown, to having Chinatown east and west, then came Chinatown north, then the entire north end of the city became Chinese.
Now everywhere is flooded. Both my current neighborhood and the one I grew up in went from vibrant communities, where everyone knew each other, to full of Chinese people where no one knows each other or talks. Most of the people barely speak English.
In many neighborhoods, street signs r in Chinese. I have had a feeling for many years that China was flooding Canada to fuck with America.
I hope Trudeau and China get exposed. Canada is so cucked. People here are sooooo brainwashed by media. Media here is alot tighter and left leaning. There r really no right wing news outlets here and anytime a new one starts they r mercilessly attacked as racists etc.

AND, the massage parlor was under investigation for human trafficking and underage workers.....

We also dont have any guys like Styxhexenhammer, Shapiro, Rubin, Tim Pool etc, who while not perfect, still add rational voices to the right. So its much more difficult to get people to listen to the view from the right.

(Im Canadian) We had 2 by-elections yesterday in Toronto and both seats went to Trudeaus liberals.
Im fucking shocked. Toronto is absolutely fucked. Ive lived here for 40 years and the last 10-15 the city has gone to complete shit like the democrat run cities in the US. Personally, I think Trudeau and Canadian media are 100% compromised by China and I think its the Chinese vote in Toronto that keeps getting him in.
Housing has gone through the roof, traffic has become rush hour 24/7, Transit is rammed all the time, parks and hiking trails in the city are now so crowded now its not enjoyable to even go there. We used to have 1 Chinatown, then 1 became 3, now the city has essentially been taken over by Chinese. We used to have a vibrant downtown, with tons of little boutique shops, however rent has skyrocketed in the last few years and most of the unique shops (which were the major reason for going downtown) have been replaced with Footlocker, The Gap, McDonalds.... and condos... fucking condos everywhere.
Multiculturalism has failed completely. Instead of integrating, everywhere has just become pockets of ethnic groups, with little to no intergration. Greek Town, Little Italy, Little India, Little Portugal, Chinatown everywhere, Koreatown, Jewish area, Iranian Area, Arab area.... And all these areas, most people dont speak English.... Fucking street signs and govt stuff is now printed in Chinese/Arab, politicians all run ethnic candidates in these areas.
The worst part is, they keep building more and more and more condos and just keep stuffing more immigrants in.

Even though I own alot of consoles, I stopped buying them after ps2 and I always had a PC. I wish game devs would go back to deving for PC first then for console secondary. Since they started deving for console first then porting to PC games have taken a big shit.
Plus I HATE how they never release a full game now, games full of pay to win and DLC.

My neighborhood has gone to shit. Its full of foreign owned homes and people renting them. I dont even have any recourse against the people who let their dogs escape.
