modern science is just another religion used to control masses. doctors and scientists are your priests. the scientific journals are your scripture.
the sheep don't understand what science truly is.
science is a question... not an answer.
while the metric system helps written arithmetic by simply moving a decimal point, the US imperial system helps mental math and estimation by halving, third-ing, and quartering. the result is that people who only do hypothetical school work prefer the metric system and people who actually build and do work daily prefer the US imperial system.
on a side note: our date format is the best as well. the month is the most information-dense piece of data in a date therefore it should, without question, come before the day.
me and my dad are fortunate enough to not be affected by the authoritarian lockdowns. doing just fine economically speaking. dad was working from home for the first couple of months and i actually was kinda worried. he fucking hated it.
unfortunately my mom has lost all but one shift... fortunately she is a builder and has no problem working her ass off at home. she built an entire room in our house, a couple of fences and is working on another room as we speak.
i dont consume anything new anymore. no sports, no tv, no music, no movies, no legacy media. NOTHING.
i watch reruns of some shows from around 15~ years ago, consume alternative media, watch my friends kids play sports, and either foreign music or music from decades and decades ago.
