Self-hosted is the real trick, isn't it?

The closest thing is probably going to be TeamSpeak, but I honestly haven't used it in 6-7 years. I have been on servers with over 1000 members and over 100 concurrent voice users.

  1. code-phrases take a long time to set up, can be cumbersome to use, and are not usually effective at ad-hoc communication
  2. unless you really know what you're doing, you are going to give away a looooot of info by you're chose of code words.

Opsec is a complicated topic and no method is foolproof.

Downside is its open transmission of information. Anyone with a SDR can listen to anything said on any radio in the area.

Grab a cheap phone, put a sim in it you paid cash for, and mind how you use it.

The British marched on armed patriots with intent to disarm them.

No one knows who shot first, but many historical accounts indicate it was the patriots.

Note, when Musk tested himself, one nostril was positive and one was negative

No, not because of masks.

FWIW, while i may not be a virologist it seems that COVID-19 has many similarities to other blood infections, such as malaria. The smartest people Ive come across seem to think it inhibits blood from accepting oxygen (something to do with the iron in the blood...this is where my understanding falls apart). Thus people will have very low o2 saturation but are breathing normally and dont feel like they are suffocating (when their blood work says the opposite). Supplemental oxygen and ventilation or BIPAP dont actually help (the pure o2 helps a little, but not much).

Dunno if you remember stories from April/May about how they were putting people on ventilators who were physically breathing normally and able to speak...which is just odd. Usually you only vent people who cant breath on their own (as the vent is mechanically breathing for them).

Came to say this. Its a naturally occurring organic compound. Basically any plant or animal that is bioluminescent has it.

Wife is an ER nurse in north Denver. Per her patient volume is down but acuity is way up, as well as admission rates. Biggest thing is people who are acting and breathing fine but O2 saturation levels are terrible (like 75%...which is "you should be passed out" levels). They wont discharge them till the O2 levels get back in the 90s.

No tiktok videos though. They cut staffing and never have a moment for a break.

That Knife Party song played randomly the other day and it brought back an awesome wave of memories.

It made me realize how stark the 2016 to 2020 difference is. The meme of the girl with bunny ears standing next to the dude in full tactical kit couldnt be more true. We went from having fun to being in a death-fight for our republic.
