Once in a while I stop to wonder if maybe, just maybe, there was something so wrong with Trump to make all this shit worthwhile. Safe storage is for when you have persons around who are not authorized to possess weapons. Like, little children. But if you've trained your children, or if you have no children, or if your children are all adults, and you don't have guests in your house, and you lock your guns when you do have guests whom you wouldn't authorize to use your guns, then there's no problem at all with having guns lying around. I wouldn't keep handguns chambered but not holstered, or shotguns/rifles chambered w/o the safety on.
