Saying nothing is not enough. You have to actually say that you're invoking your 5th amendment right to say nothing, THEN say nothing.
Just plead the fifth, demand a lawyer, and demand a warrant or warrants or that they leave. Give them nothing, as that will make it hard to get more than the evidence they have supports, which may not be much and which will certainly be less than what they'll have if you give them evidence (your statements) or if lie (even the tiniest fib will be used to CRUCIFY you in court).
The physical evidence is so overwhelming in all of these cases anyway, that they don't need a confession. It's simple trespassing charges that they're all going to be 100% guilty of. They are at the mercy of the prosecutor and the plea deal they decide to offer.
The evidence may not be so overwhelming, and think, if they are interrogating you about it, it must be because either a) the evidence is not as overwhelming as a confession would be, or b) they are really vindictive and want to enhance your sentence by getting you to commit additional crimes such as lying to investigators. Whatever the reason they wanted to talk to you, you should not given them what they're looking for, then they may either go home empty-handed, or you will get a better plea deal and/or lower sentence. But if you talk to them, you WILL make it harder on yourself, and that's unavoidable except by pleading the fifth and keeping quiet.

If any police (FBI or whatever) want to speak to you, it's either because they:
- they have nothing and are hoping you'll give them something,
- they have enough to go to trial, but want you to make it so easy for them that you plead guilty,
- they have enough to go to trial or even get you to plead guilty, but they want to enhance your sentence by getting you to "lie" to them.
