I also liked the war, at first. Later I came to realize that you can't make tribal people take to democracy, so there was never anything to be gained.

TARP was nothing now, in retrospect. Hardly anything to get mad about when 2020 happened. The CRA was worth getting mad about. The covid hoax was worth getting mad about.

I'm ready to fuck shit up. Have you seen my Sunday Gunday post? I've got a shitload of ammo and at least two of us would fight.

The SCOTUS hasn't taken a good case yet, let alone held hearings. Now, in 2000 they acted late but in time, so it could happen, but there's very few facts established already in lower courts for them to consider. But the real problem is that in 2000 the default was Bush wins and the court simply didn't go along with making it easier to change the result.

Remember, in Bush v. Gore the court refused (5-4) to waive the December 14 Elector certification deadline so the Florida court could do its thing. In this case the default is Biden wins, and again there's not enough time between whenever the SCOTUS rules and December 14 to change that default unless it's super easy and clean.

What the SCOTUS could and should do is say that denying observers is enough to rule out all votes counted without observers. They could do this because the denial of access to observers is established fact. This would flip PA instantly. But it would take days more to apply that precedent to MI, WI, GA, and AZ. There will not be enough days unless the Court happens to hear a case this week and rule on it this way by early next week. That's improbable.

So I think the SCOTUS, even if it wants to do the right thing, won't be able to do the right thing in time.

As for Trump, in order to invoke the Insurrection Act he'll need to know that enough military is with him. At minimum that's Special Forces, which as it happens he's gotten better control over, so it's possible. And more importantly, he needs devastating evidence that Biden and the other dems (and some Rs) have committed treason. Anything less and he may not get compliance. So far we've heard lots of ticktock about this evidence, but he's got to have it. Same thing with the militia. If he wants to call out the militia he'll need to get tens of thousands of armed militia to go to each state capitol at once and overwhelm any state trooper and police. Getting enough to come out is essential and depends on making people super angry, which means that evidence had better be solid.

I'm more skeptical than optimistic about this ticktock stuff, so I'm inclined to expect that nothing happens even though I fervently hope he does invoke the Insurrection Act, and even though I would come out and risk my life.

He didn't like No Child Left Behind or the Medicare Rx coverage, though frankly, I wasn't listening much back then because I didn't have a commute.

I don't even know what that magazine is, so I don't feel betrayed :)

Of course he can't say it till he does it. I sure hope he does it. I doubt he will, but I'll show up.

The time to do this was election night. We didn't. I would have if I'd lived in one of the fucked states, but I don't.

No, this is not them panicking. This is them gloating.

I hope so. It would take a massive showing of armed Pennsylvanians to make it happen.

It wouldn't have any weight. It wouldn't have any legal meaning. Also, they could just as easily replace the Speaker, extend the session, and have a real vote.

If they haven't, it's because they don't have the votes. That means many don't want to vote for it.

Not gonna happen. I believe it's now down to Trump invoking the Insurrection Act. God I hope he does.

I've done all those things and then some.

  • Been to three #StopTheSteal rallies.
  • Donated shitloads ($18,000 for the campaign, maxed individual contributions to Trump for me and my wife and the rest went to the RNSC, RNC, and various candidates)
  • Donated $2,000 to the legal team and plan to donate $10,000 more upon sealing the win
  • Called my congressman and my senators and left messages
  • Called my governor and state AG and left messages
  • Called PA house speaker and left a message
  • Called a few others

This is all I can do. Oh I've posted here and elsewhere. That's all I got. I did not have the skills or free time to help with fraud investigations.

Oh, my guns are clean, oiled, and loaded, and I'm committed to come out and risk my life if called out by the President. But I don't think that will happen.

Being out of possible things to do leaves me feeling bummed. It's out of my hands now.

You can't not pay income taxes.

The IRS and the Treasury know about all your bank accounts. If need be they will just take the money from your bank accounts and that's that.

I'll see y'all in court.

What? There's no time left bitch. Either put up a resolution naming the legislature's own Electors or STFU. No more BS shows.

It's not looking good on that front. That's probably why Powell retweeted a call to Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act. It's starting to look like that's the only real option left. If he calls, we go.

Not even.

tdwinner2020 3 points ago +3 / -0

STFU. There will not be a 2022 or 2024. Your vote and my vote will not count.

Not confirmed if he's retired.

Yes.

If Mastriano knew they were running out of time (how could he not) then he would have brought a resolution to name the legislature's own Electors. I thought he was doing a strongly worded letter first to gather steam, to give the PA government one more chance to enrage Republicans. But no, it was just a show. Looked good! Sounded fantastic! Was BS.
