You can turn it all off any time you want. I got rid of my Amazon thing, my car is pre-all that shit, no microphones or cameras in my TVs, and I'll never own one that has those. Next is my phone. I removed Facebook and somehow it wound up back on there and I'm ditching it. The only reason to keep it is to summon an uber but at this point I'd rather take a taxi. Do you know how much information Uber collects on you from the way you hold your phone? Look it up, it's unbelievable, get rid of that fucking thing, get it out of your life. You have no idea what kind of information they are collecting or what can be extrapolated from it.

I'm getting rid of my phone altogether. Podcasts can go on an mp3 player, Garmin makes a way better GPS that doesn't track you, and I don't need to be in constant contact with anyone. I'm frankly not that important. Who answers their phone anymore anyway? Leave a message, it'll get transcribed to text and sent to me that way, I'll read it and call back from a land line if I need to.

I can't do it. I drag my feet when somebody wants me to cheerlead their child into transness. I just tell them that according to my licensure, any "trans" issues are by definition not a mental health thing. Anxiety, depression, yes. Trans issues have specific legal protection that puts that issue into a category I am forbidden by law from addressing.
It's been that way for a hundred years, what's new. Who knows what kind of flu they're bringing in with them.

Our governments must be STRIPPED OF THE ABILITY to declare pandemics, force home confinement, restrict movement, order medical treatment, and anything else we can take away from those fuckers.

I agree that it's open war. It seemed like that to me from the beginning, I'm so confused why other people... even us here and those at a certain place on a certain day, didn't seem to think that's what was up.
