Didn't you hear? Whiteness isn't only a skin color, it's a state of mind. All white people are bad because they're white, but any PoC that does something bad is also 'exhibiting whiteness'.

Didn't you know that the constitution is language-fluid? Why bother changing the constitution when you can change definitions of words instead? (Insert Tapping head meme here)

I stand fervently in AGREEMENT with the proposed Texas Constitutional Carry Act of 2021.

As has long been understood by legal scholars and decades of jurisprudence following the declaration of Chief Justice Marshall, any law or act that is "repugnant to the Constitution is void." Ignorance of this simple statement has allowed the slow creep of infringement to take root in our nation and state.

When the Second Amendment to the Constitution was composed it was understood that the right of a person to defend himself, his family, and his property was an inherent right that was not and could not be granted by any government, and it was explicitly stated that this right is necessary to the security of a free state, and as such, no attempt can legally be made that would fringe on this inalienable right.

Over the last century, lawmakers fueled by fear and racism have chipped away at this most basic right to self-defense, and the rules and regulations enacted have eroded the ability of a citizen to be secure in their person by providing for their own protection and instead further overburden the state by forcing it to divert public safety efforts into prevention instead of its true roll in enforcement and prosecution.

These infringements are justified by misappropriating the blame for any misuse of a weapon onto the inanimate object itself, instead of placing the blame and enforcing other appropriate criminal laws against the perpetrator of an act of violence.

These violative laws are enforced against the citizens who would otherwise be considered law-abiding and productive elements of society, entrapping them in the claws of an overreaching and bloated legal system. This unconscionable misuse of prosecution under the mandates of these fearful lawmakers has proven to be completely ineffective in promoting public safety and ultimately only harms those lawful citizens that attempt, but may mistakenly fail, to adhere to each of the everchanging and contradictory rules across the varying jurisdictions. While the justice system is preoccupied with the prosecution of harmless individuals, those that do intend to menace society are actively flouting any and all of these impotent regulations.

It may also be considered that these ineffective laws are in direct conflict with the rights of the people enumerated in the 4th and 5th Amendments, as their enforcement violates any sense of justice regarding a showing of probable cause or even an attempt at due process prior to depriving a person of their rights.

Texas should not be following the other states that have already recognized this fundamental truth. Instead, the Great State of Texas should be leading the charge to restore liberty and justice to the good citizens of the state by returning to the fundamental meaning of the Constitution and the true intent of the Founding Fathers. I urgently implore you to carefully consider this enactment as a vital step in the right direction. I would also encourage your support in the evaluation of other liberating changes that can be made to remove all other futile regulations that are repugnant and contrary to my right to keep and bear arms in self-defense. Thank you.

I wouldn't call it 'winning', more like we've stopped losing for now.

Until we get bullshit gun laws off the books we won't be winning, just losing with periods of stalemate in between.

This is why no one has ever heard of Tony Timpa. He was actually killed by police while they mocked him. No drugs in his system, no public outcry, no riots, cops all acquitted.

The kicker was that he actually called the cops for help because he recognized he was off his schizophrenia meds.

100% agree, but I'm still stuck on the 'only 20 years of habitable biosphere left' statement. How brain dead do you have to be to believe that?

Are negative IQs a thing?

And once again, mainstream media lags behind a bunch of centipedes on the internet. We knew this like half a year ago, they wait until they can't deny it anymore.

I don't wear them. Store's that force it kick me out, IDGAF.

What I find really sad is when I hire people to come do work at my house and I tell them they don't have to wear it, they are so incredibly relieved and grateful. For not forcing them to wear a useless piece of cloth that makes it more difficult to do their jobs.

Fucking clown-world.

I don't wear a mask. They're useless. But the media instills fear in people who delegate their critical thinking to others, so that the sheep will do whatever the politicians say to do.

Also, businesses likely don't want the possibility of any liability if they don't enforce masks, so they embrace cowardice and stupidity to avoid risk.

Didn't you hear? The violent, fascist trump supporters murdered him. Otherwise they couldn't justify shutting down the conversation regarding all the election bullshittery while also further villifying trump. Now they are forced to admit it was lies and propaganda.

Don't underestimate the ability of sheep to eat whatever bullshit is placed in front of them. Too many people delegate their critical thinking to big media corporations so they don't have to hurt their precious little brains.

I think you may have missed the blue/green squares over the 4 people (2 btm left & 2 btm right) that mark the selections. Just Biden, Pence, Romney, and the turtle man are being shown a traitors in this image.

Why is that important? I started doing that with my downvotes since seeing the instructions on night 1, but I have no idea why it's necessary... Wat do?
