I live behind enemy lines in Philz home turf and I'm a huge fan of their Silken Splendor and Tesora blends. Sometimes I go for the Ether or the Jacob's Wonderbar.

Can anyone from Stocking Mill recommend some roughly equivalent blends that I might enjoy?

Want a secure phone? Get an iPhone and just don't use iCloud and don't enable any analytics.

Even iMessage is end-to-end encrypted so long as you don't ever enable messages in the cloud. If you don't ever sign in to iCloud at all, you can't enable it, so iMessage is totally encrypted. Of course... the person on the other end may have enabled messages in the cloud, but if it's two specifically secured iPhones talking to each other you're good to go.

Literally all you have to do is start with a new phone or wipe a phone and just answer appropriately to the prompts during the initial setup. Basically skip, skip, no no, skip, no, skip, and so on.

Producing a TV show takes a lot of people and consequently a lot of money. That means there's a lot at risk to getting a story wrong. Ad boycotts are a real problem for FNC. Part of being the opinion star means sometimes you gotta toe the line until you can come up with irrefutable facts to support your opinion. To not do so means risking losing all of your ad revenue, and for what?

If you lose your ad revenue, you're done. Your numbers can be off the charts amazing, but if the network can't monetize them because no one is willing to run ads, then you aren't worth anything to them. Ask Bill O'Reilly about that.

I think it'd be more accurate to say that Tucker knew when it was time to retreat and regroup. The Arizona audit was the ammunition he needed to start fighting the next series of battles. The war is far from over.

That is completely false. Read folklore.org from Andy Herzfeld or anyone else on the original Mac team.

Jeff Raskin came up with the name and the ideal price point. That’s about it. Raskin wanted to try to scale up the Apple II type of architecture.

Jobs had the foresight to take the Lisa project which was doomed to fail in the market before it even started (too costly) and build a team who could pare it down to something cheap enough to be sold. That was the Mac we know. What Raskin had in mind bears almost no resemblance to what was released.

Right... save that money and pay it back nearly a year later when it is owed at tax time since you know it will be owed. Even if you just bought some index fund shares with it you could probably make a few bucks on it while you hold it.

Over-paying your taxes isn't a good thing. Getting a refund means you over-paid your taxes and you got no interest while they held your overpayment.

The only thing good about a tax refund is if you are such an incredibly bad saver you need the government to hold your money for you so you don't forget.

My wife and I picked up a Valley Forge flag kit from Costco a couple of months ago. It can get fairly windy where we are and it's held up well so far.

Closest thing on their website is this: https://valleyforgeflag.com/prod-18-1-3457-340/u-s-flag-kit-with-spinning-pole-retail-packaging-minimum-order-6-.htm

Our mount has two fixed positions, a 45º and a 90º, whereas the mount for the kit on their website appears to be adjustable to multiple angles.

The PG-13 rating wasn't added until 1984. Airplane! was released in 1980.

Gingrich has been one of the few consistently based establishment Republicans for years now. He speaks softly and he deftly turns attention away after making taboo but not wrong statements like this.

Came here to say this. Let me explain how this works.

Wall Street pays to get friendly politicians in office. Friendly politicians take an insane political posture of taxing capital gains more than ordinary income, and of course they let their friends in Wall Street know about this in advance.

When your typical cable business news viewer hears the news, they panic sell because the journalists write fear-inducing articles. The next day a bunch of stories come out saying that this really isn't a big deal and it's never going to happen because there's just not votes for this in the Senate.

Meanwhile, the Wall Street guys sold off on the heads up and bought back on the dip.

Bullshit. Look up the Oscar Grant shooting in Oakland. Officer Mehserle is as white and male as they come and he experienced the "Taser Confusion" problem.

He did two years for involuntary manslaughter. It was an accident in the heat of the moment when dealing with rival gang-bangers, but the thing is, it doesn't matter who was who. He killed a man by accident.

In a system of fair justice it doesn't matter who was what color or what gender. If the facts prove beyond a reasonable doubt you accidentally killed someone, you gotta do your time for involuntary manslaughter. That's the agreement we've had for centuries.

I have always been registered No Party Preference or Independent. What it's called depends on state. How it works also depends on state.

It's a very personal choice, but I've always been very comfortable with my decision to not declare a political party. I have always leaned Republican, but I refuse to have my name associated with them, and I damn sure refuse to have my name associated with the Democrats.

The events of the past 4 years have certainly made me feel that I absolutely made the right choice.

If you think that is below average you need to get your dick examined.

Yeah, that's what happens when you get shot by an attempted assassin 2 months after inauguration. You do what the TLAs tell you to do and give them whatever they want.

American conservatives are conserving liberty.

It would make more sense to be called liberals, but we ceded that term to Marxists.

Good for Kyle. He never should have been held for so long. While I understand the crimes being charged are serious, did anyone genuinely believe this kid was not going to show up in court? Those are the standards for bail.

I keep hoping Barr is playing the long game and all this is going to drop right after the rampant election fraud is overcome. Perhaps a nice Christmas present?

I think what it really comes down to is Barr was worried Trump might lose and that would be really bad for Barr, Durham, and everyone else. It's just too risky. When Trump wins on his own without any help from Barr, in theory it can all drop and it will be even more brutal. Barr stays clean, he won't be "the guy that helped Trump win."

It will be especially brutal because it will be coming on the heels of the worst attempted voter fraud in history. I think that might be the whole point of all of this. Fully discredit the Democratic Party high-rollers in one massive onslaught to the point where their party is in complete shambles and cannot hope to recover.

At that point Trump can finally reach across the aisle and finally make some deals that are good for all Americans.

I'm taking the fight off of here and to Facebook. I stayed out of it most of the election except here and there because why bother? All of a sudden only sporadic replies from the most avowed Democrats. They are in a holding pattern awaiting further NPC instructions. Maybe the conditioning will break for some of them.
