Rubio has always been a political toady. He's trying to virtue signal. He got his shit called out for not being able to call out a single instance of what he claims has occurred. He's just speaking in generalizations.
White supremacy bad. Really? You don't say.
It's laughable, but even if it were true their constant cheering on of Antfa for the past 4 years until it became a political football shows you their true colors.
The opposite did not happen on the right, and we all know they tried to make it happen by paying white supremacist groups to start trouble.
False equivalence. With Smollet it never happened. In this case there doesn’t seem to be anyone doubting that sexual intercourse occurred and the question is whether or not it was consensual.
A generally well regarded Title IX office at Columbia, a district attorneys office, and the police department all said there wasn’t enough for a responsible finding.
None of that changes the fact that this girl truly believes it was non-consensual. Don’t do this to someone who really believes they were raped. It’s not a good look.
Guys like Scarborough are part of the reason I've never registered GOP in California and probably never will, not even to vote in a Presidential primary.
The California GOP is full of pseudo-Stalinists, just like every other organization in California. Ignore reality, play make-believe, then scream like a cry-bully when things turn out poorly.
Fauci seems like one of those can't see the forest for all the trees kind of people.
Understand that, listen to what he says about his actual area of expertise (research), take that with a grain of salt, and for the love of god do not "trust the experts" to run your life for you.
Why would anyone tell her to shut up? She doesn't represent today's Republican values in the slightest. If anything her, Kristol, and others highlight a great distinction between the old ways and the new ways.
Ms. Coulter is part of the "student council" or "model UN" crowd. All she wants is for her and her people to be in the seat of power. The best approach is to use her to get there, then dump her because she's total sleaze and you can't have that stink on you.
Don’t do that. Take it from a Californian who is originally from just across the line from New Buffalo.
Just let her term play out and obstruct everything illegal she does. Elections come up regularly enough on their own. An off-cycle battle will just get you a RINO. You need to actually change your neighbors mindset, not just try to win... because then what?
I don't get it? How is this clown-world? I would have loved to have all these different colors as a kid, including all the different blush tones to highlight cheeks and whatnot.
Even growing up in the super-white midwest I still had plenty of friends with different skin tones than mine.
I generally like your post and comment history, but you might want to check yourself on this one.
Seems to me like he was right at the start of this, before the virus mutated to a less-lethal form and/or we started naturally gaining herd immunity by being exposed to weakened/dead virus from other people who had started recovering. It actually was a lot more dangerous then.
Also seems to me like he's right now. Staying closed isn't in anyone's interest... it just prevents us from gaining herd immunity which will guarantee an October "surprise" for the Democrats.
Where he was wrong was waiting way too long for more testing information to come in. But even then he was clear that it wasn't his decision to make. He understood, correctly, and voiced it on many occasions, that it is President Donald John Trump's job to decide when and how to do things and that his (Fauci's) job is to give the President as unbiased information as he can muster. That's way easier said than done.
Like the President, I don't shit on people for doing an imperfect job. His head and heart seem to be in the right place.
That's because even with unions, a sizable number of public school teachers are too inept at business dealings to receive fair compensation for their work. Even those who are great at business dealings are stuck in a system where so many of their peers aren't and that always depresses wages.
Pro-tip: when you willingly put all this extra unpaid time in "for the children" you aren't actually doing it for the children... you're doing it so the administration can save a buck. And in some cases you're doing it so they can put that buck in their pockets or their friends pockets.
Inconvenient fact: proper education costs way more than anyone is willing to admit. Education for the masses ought to become a charity again. The catholics, and especially the jesuits, have it right. We should be willingly funding charitable education for the masses because if we don't do it, the government will continue to do it for us.
We need to start asking ourselves: can we afford to allow public schools to continue to indoctrinate people with no viable alternative.
Maybe I'm a dunce, but I genuinely believe him. He spreads some of the blame to CBS but ultimately he owns up for having made the mistake of believing something that clearly wasn't true.
When was the last time you can remember someone in the mainstream media genuinely apologize like this?
What is this supposed to be evidence of? I remember back in 1996 going and checking out some of the houses under construction in and around Atlanta with a family member. Had there been cameras then I'm sure a similar photo would have been taken.
Why were we doing this? Because we were interested in the design and how it was constructed. Looking at the "bones" of a house under construction is very enlightening.
I can't ascribe motivation from a photo like this, having been in a similar position myself. You do as you please.
And my god... my story occurred in March 1996 in Atlanta... only a few months later would Richard Jewell be falsely accused of planting a bomb. Who knows what could have happened if my mom and I had encountered some nosy "Karen" back then.
And isn't that really kind of what this is? This ex-cop and his son got way too involved and went full vigilante. They are the Karens we all complain about and the result of their actions is that a man is dead because they cornered him. Don't give them a pass for that kind of crappy behavior even if you think this dead guy was a criminal.
And again... you do you. But to me the commandment to preserve life is paramount.
I don't give two shits about carbon emissions either, but as an asthmatic living in the Bay Area it's been nice not to have so much localized stagnant air pollution from everyone else's cars during this shut down.
I bought a Tesla years ago because I could afford to do so and my Model S is hands down the most fun car I've ever driven. I also felt at the time that even though I am very skeptical of the carbon emission theory it would be nice to stop emitting localized pollutants that are clearly not good for my health.
I realized that on that front, I had been contributing the problem and I had the means to stop doing that.
I would never force anyone to lay out money they can't afford, but if it is within your means to do so I would encourage you to strongly consider Tesla because at the end of the day it's about each of us doing what we, personally, feel is going to move the world forward and make it a better place for all of us.
Fuck this outrage machine bullshit.
Why should I accept the mainstream media's narrative of what he said?
I have my own narrative: Fauci has a strong opinion based on his field of study, which he's allowed to have as an American. He's also allowed to voice that opinion to anyone who will listen.
The mainstream media is also free to editorialize it into something completely absurd, and I'm free to ignore their mischaracterization and think about what Fauci actually said and give it proper weight against what other people are saying.
I can do all of that, gaining a real understanding of the facts, simply by not buying in to the media-generated bullshit narrative. At all.
Go home shill. We all see your post history.
I trust Trump to pull off this rope-a-dope flawlessly, just like every other one.
