This is real simple.

Go to duckduckgo.com and do a search. If you don't like the results, add a "!g" before the search term, DDG will reroute your search to Google, *and then you can see Google's results.

Also can try Brave Search, brought you by the same people who make the Brave Browser.

Also there's Startpage which gives Google search results without compromising user privacy.

Leave Google behind. They're part of the problem, and if you're using them regularly, you're part of the problem, too.

The event, being held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, should fly massive red flags right there.

On top of that, the ballroom can hold 700 at most. If configured for seating, it can hold 525. Given that CPAC is expected to get 15-20K attendees, you can see which one is going actually reflect conservatives from across the nation.

So you're going to the "freedom" of the midwest, like Chicago-dominated Illinois, Detroit-dominated Michigan, or Ilhan Omar's Minnesota?

You should have come to a free state, like Florida, Tennessee, or Texas.

Dear Freckled Liberty,

Although I know that you don't need it, you're exactly the kind of woman that I want. I will meet you at the altar, sight-otherwise-unseen. Please move to Nashville and marry me.

Protesting isn't about "making your point." It's about showing the government that you're in bitter earnest about the demand of some sort of change.

Either the right of the people peaceably to assemble is true or it's not. The government, be it the US or the Canadian government, hates the people at large, and peacefully protesting them is the way to show we won't just roll over for their contempt.

You mean there are people who watch the Pro Bowl? Why?

When you kills off the Patriotic spirit, athletes are competing only for their own personal glory. So an American-born athlete decides that she's more important than representing the nation of her native birth and represents the country of genocide and communism.

Americans won't sympathize; she's literally doing the work of a traitor, if this were war, and the Chinese literati have nothing to lose by destroying her personally.

Hope it was worth it, Yi.

Yeah, all those trolls with fifteen years in the system are just going to walk away and lose out on the retirement pensions. Bull Crap.

Do you really think that the Union Leader is going to countenance half of US teachers to walk away? Do you think the Union is just going to brag that their bargaining power will be circling the drain? Do you think they're going to celebrate losing all those Union dues?

Of course not

How many of those teachers are going to look at a private sector jobs just accept that they won't get summer vacation anymore? Gone. They're working 12 out of 12 months. How many of them in right to work states will accept that they will be held accountable for all their actions? How many of them will just deal with the fact that they have to produce good results, rather than be glorified babysitters in the classroom?

How many of the 55 year old women will get jobs where they can't coast and push their agendas on people who can't talk back?

Put up or shut up, teachers. No one buys into the idea that you'll actually quit.

Fair enough, so not buying Hershey candy won't effect the amusement park. Support good companies; avoid bad companies.

I thought I would always be a Hershey guy. I have family who live in the area and I loved Hershey Park. I've been on Keto for a few years now, and have rarely had any sweets, but I guess Hershey products will never be in my house.

I'm sure Milton would be so proud of how the company treats it's employees these days. /s

You're right. The mayor and entire Metro Council is Democrat-dominated. There's no doubt about that, but what this does is balance out the demographics closer towards the organic population percentages overall across the state.

Dems knew this was coming. They've been "gerrymandering" for generations now, but now they're getting a taste of their own medicine, it's not so nice.

I didn't, but I'm not surprised. Poisoning the well is what Nashville Democrats and leftists do.

Jim Cooper is reading the writing on the wall, the Tennessee redisctricting is going pass muster, Nashville is going be broken up into three different Congressional districts, and Cooper won't be able to overcome with all the suburban Republicans and he's getting out before he can be tossed out on his ear.

Good riddance, I'm sure your brother (Mayor John Cooper) will continue to slow the economic miracle that Nashville has been over the last ten years until he's eventually term-limited out. At least John Cooper (probably) won't be required to resign in shame like Megan Barry did.

Over in reddit, /r/nashville are going through utter rage due to redistricting. Making racism and other claims. Cooper knows what's up. His ability to walk to an easy election is over.

Good.

I've said stuff like this before, We warned people about this. When this showed up on the horizon, we said that this would overtake biological women and the left didn't listen to us.

The most hilarious strategy is that the tactic biological women are using is the "we're victims" Marxist class-warfare. OK, you've got huge numbers of conservatives over here, telling you that biological women are being drowned out by biological men who are demanding to be recognized by women, and yet you play the one card that is guaranteed to make the people who would be happy to support your cause to give up on you personally, gender-warfare. If you're going to use your plea to just hate men, men will simply let your particular platform fail.

We're not going to ally with you on your terms. I realize that you don't want the support of men and conservatives in order to salvage your platform, but you don't have anyone else. There is no one else to take up your cause.

I don't see Trump doing what it takes to be Speaker. He's a smart enough man to know his strengths. Hanging out in the Capitol building massaging egos and cutting deals with liberal Republicans from New Jersey or have discussion from RINO squishes like Mitt Romney is not his strength.

thatrightwinger 4 points ago +6 / -2

Trump wouldn't work as Speaker, because it requires influence and deal making. That's not his strength. His strength is in defined leadership and using the bully pulpit, and that's not a bad thing, but that's not suitable for Speaker.

Trump needs to be in a position where his primary function is to communicate directly to the people, and that's why being president suited him so well. If I could I would get him to be Vice President to Ron DeSantis. The only defined roles for the vice president are to be the President of the Senate and break ties, and to become president if it comes to that. He could go across the country as vice president, speak at rallies, support the administration, and while Ron can develop the relationships with House and Senate Republicans, share the foreign travel, and be the voice of reason.

Trump as vice president would make for a great card against the left. "Are you really going to try to remove President DeSantis: you see Vice President Trump over there just itching to get back into the White House. Given his age (78 in 2025), Trump's health needs to be considered. As Vice President, if his health began to fail, it's not the end of the world. Joe Biden is a textbook example why you don't put people that old into the presidency.

Finally, Donald Trump would be a great vacuum for controversy. Just by talking, he would outrage the media, and DeSantis could quietly get work done in Washington. Ron would not be the kind of Republican ashamed of Donald's blasting tone, so he would stand up to the cries for apologies and backtracking.

I think Donald Trump would make the best VP ever. Donald Trump for VP 2024.

Remember when Neil Young put his name on the Pono Music Player in 2012, claiming that it would put out superior sounds, requiring everyone to buy more expensive FLAC files? Nobody who listened could tell the difference, and youtubers did comparisons with contraptions that did a blind switch back and forth between the Pono and standard MP3 players and no one could tell the difference.

Neil Young has been basically living off his glomming off of Crosby, Stills, and Nash. Otherwise, he's a massive one-hit wonder who has no place telling anyone what they should be doing.

Mask mandates were everywhere in 2020. Obviously, they would be greatly reduced all over long before this point, but let's not live in a fantasy world where masks weren't a thing, because they were.

Unless the protesters go out and vote for liberty-minded candidates, this is all for naught. It's all just a waste of time because the German government doesn't care about serving the will of the people. They enrich the most powerful families of Germany and impress the French glitterati, and if they succeed at that, that's all that matters.

The best way to protect your athletes from Chinese punishment is to pull your Olympic delegation altogether. I would literally tell American athletes that the Chinese government has threatened our delegation, so you can compete if you wish, but it will not be under the USA banner.

I've disowned the Olympics since the last Beijing fiasco. At this point, they're nothing more than a showcase of tinpot dictators to fatten their own pockets built useless infrastructure, kick out the poor from the cities, and legitimize their own banana republics. I'll never go or pay to watch the five-ringed circus, full stop.

Senate Bill 2113 passed by a margin of 32-2 after the walk out of the black caucus, which Daily Mail reports was entirely comprised of Democrats.

The proposed legislation states in part:

(1) No public institution of higher learning, community/junior college, school district or public school, including public charter schools, shall direct or otherwise compel students to personally affirm, adopt or adhere to any of the following tenants:

(a) That any sex, race, ethnicity, religion or national origin is inherently superior or inferior; or

(b) That individuals should be adversely treated on the basis of their sex, race, ethnicity, religion or national origin.

This is what black Senate Democrats in Mississippi aren't even willing to cast a vote on such a bill.

Two white Democrats voted against the bill. We know what Mississippi Democrats think about racial "superiority."
