I actually support this. I have experienced so many ignorant cops its no wonder we have so many issues. Perhaps a 2 year degree instead though, and it can include weapon training, de-escalation, law, etc..

I understand downvoting this, but as a Veteran and a prior contractor for the Federal Protective Service I am well aware of how limited the training is for law enforcement. If you don't want law enforcement infringing on your Constitutional rights, like forcing your business to remain closed during COVID, it would be helpful if they knew even a little bit of the damn law.

I was on the website because I am trying to figure out the best way to platform early so that I actually have a chance to make the ballot. Perhaps i'll make a facebook page soon, and maybe all you amazing pedes could help it gain traction.

Are you in Montana? I will probably run for the House of Representatives as all members get elected every 2 years. Then slowly work my way up to running for Senate.

Look at proposal 4. They are suggesting that the votes of Montana no longer matter, that instead our votes will go to whomever won the popular vote nationwide. Literally one law that would wipe out an entire states voice.

Initiative or referendum for the ballot – Signatures must be obtained from 5 percent of the total number of qualified voters in Montana (based on the number of votes cast for the office of governor in the last general election), including 5 percent of the voters in each of 34 legislative house districts.

This is why there is only 4.

Also look at Ballot issue #4. States are attempting to circumvent their own laws by overriding the constitution and their state votes by using a "compact" with other states to attribute their votes to the popular vote winner. What the living fuck is happening in America...

The funny part is it probably would have helped him in his presidency if he would have just admitted it. Only one side of the isle voted for him any how..
