I've got a few folders "memes", "informative" etc. They memes folder has quite a few but right now I can't see more than barely the first page. If I go into the folder, I can see the first page, I click "next" and then when the page loads I can see only one entry/post for the folder, and that's it. No option to scroll to "next" either.
Mods can someone help. u/doggos any ideas?
Earlier I saw an image of ACB appearing in front of the supreme court but as Mary (as in, the mother of Jesus) - with what I think was Trump looking down on her from the heavens. Forgot to save it. Hoping someone has it.

This is not to bash anyone on this board but I have to speak up. Right now, we have a stickied thread thread that shows an extraordinarily unsafe and irresponsible situation.
Note the pregnant lady firing the shotgun. Now, her stance leaves a lot to be desired but I can overlook that. This is a common stance for a new/inexperienced shooter to have and one that I have encountered on numerous occasions when instructing new shooters.
No, the big problem here is that she's pregnant.
People let me make this abundantly clear:

The only time when this doesn't really apply is if you are acting in defense of your life (and, by extension, the life of your unborn child)
The reasons for this are several:
1.) There is no way to shield the baby's ears from the sound waves. The babies ears are roughly 2-3 feet from the chamber and maybe 3-4 feet from the muzzle, measured straight line distance assume you're shooting a long gun. A typical gunshot is on the order of 140-165 dB. Instantaneous hearing damage can occur starting at 120 dB. Crucially, the threshold of pain starts at 140 dB, which is 20 dB more than when instantaneous hearing loss can begin (i.e. you begin to feel pain when the pressure wave causing the sound is 100 times more intense than what is needed to damage your hearing).
The shotgun in the OP above, is probably on the order of 145-150 dB and is therefore 300-1000 times more intense than what is needed to cause hearing damage. Now, it is true that the woman has fat surrounding the uterus and that provides some protection. But amniotic fluid is an excellent conductor of sound and, because of its incompressibility, yields a severe impact on the baby's fragile eardrums and hearing.
2.) The act of firing a gun generates a fine powder of various heavy metals, all of which are toxic, some more than others, but especially to a developing unborn child. These materials include compounds like lead styphnate, barium nitrate, mercury fulminate, and antimony sulfide. Lead and mercury are the two heavy hitters here and a child should have absolutely zero exposure to them. However, all heavy metals (and many of the non heavy ones) are known to carry adverse health risks. For an adult, a thorough cleaning of the skin is usually sufficient to prevent adverse health consequences in the body of a mostly developed human (i.e. mid teens and older) but for children it should be avoided as much as is practicable. In an adult, there is no way to prevent all lead exposure from shooting from contacting the shooter. All these heavy metals are an atomized/pulverized cloud of dust that can and will reach the shooters eyes, mouth, nose, and other mucous membranes. In an adult, this is not typically a big deal, but these metals will be absorbed and will make it to the unborn child. Lead and mercury can have profound and permanent consequences when the dosing is on the order of nanograms or micrograms of contaminant per kilogram of baby body weight.
3.) Besides the acoustical trauma that the baby may suffer, it may also suffer psychological stress/trauma (think PTSD) from the shock of these loud sounds. Consider how you would feel if you were chilling out in a quiet room, perfectly happy and safe, and then out of nowhere a BOOOM and your ears are ringing and you have no idea what caused it. You settle down and a few minutes later another BOOOM. You can see where this is going. The earlier in life a trauma is introduced, the easier it is to induce long term pscyhological effects.
So please people, for the love of your unborn children, DO NOT SHOOT GUNS IF YOU ARE PREGNANT
DO NOT BRING PREGNANT WOMEN AROUND ANY TYPE OF SHOOTING AT ALL!
Be better than this, and show others that the gun community is responsible and values human life at all stages of development.
