So did I, and the reason I gave was that the legitimate POTUS was no longer in the White House, so I didn't need their messages anymore.

Yeah, something is happening alright, but it's not what we want.

They can shuffle people around all they want. All the entities, like NASCAR, RNC, NFL, on and on are just too stupid to understand we're hella pissed, and it's not going away with a good night's rest and a $600 inflation check.

Dang, they sure did. Working much better now for me, I'm on a fixed cellular connection and had just about given up, thanks!

I cannot believe how thoughtless that (probably automated) response was...see my OP earlier today with my short email response to her request for money. I thought it was concise and polite, but apparently she (they, its) thought I was declaring war for telling them how an old man truly feels. I wish I was 20 years younger because I fear what's coming, but I won't go down the way they want.

I'm going to stay on a bit longer. I want to see this through to the end.

I completely understand, now more than ever in my life. In the time I have left, I won't make that mistake again.

Also excellent, you did it with a much sharper edge but still polite in modern society, especially in this piece of shit place we find ourselves in now.

I'm not sure why GEOTUS kept a lot of people on, it's the only thing that has disturbed me about his presidency. Sessions? Barr? Wray? WTF?

I figured as much, but they don't really want to hear from any of us and design it as such.

Thank you, I was raised in the Deep South in the 1960's and still say ma'am and sir to everyone, even little kids. I wanted to tell her to eat a bag of dicks, of course, but that would never have been forwarded anywhere. I'm an old man now, have supported them all my life, and want them to pass around my message. I doubt they will, but I thought this was my best shot.

35 years in IT, some of it as an executive, taught me that ugly messages never accomplish what you want, but you will pay for it somewhere down the line. I wanted to sign my real name to this (and I did) and meant every last word I said. I donated money just this year, and want them to know I exist and am real. I have a nearly perfect 40 year voting record, and always GOP when I had an option. I actively supported Brian Kemp and regret that. They pissed down my back in my own State worse than anywhere else and told me it was rainin'. I'm done.

Edit: Being polite doesn't matter anymore, I'm now on their terrorist list.

Especially if you're in a blue county in Georgia, like I am. We even lost our long time sheriff this year, and the numbers didn't make sense in that election either.

My wife and I opened our business in 1985, installing Novell Netware networks for small offices of all kinds. Token Ring was still a thing, as well as coaxial ArcNET and Ethernet. I earned my certified Novell CNE in 1990, the first in my area code (half a large eastern state at the time) and things really ramped up. Soon people wanted gateways, SNA, SAA, modem pools, big tape backups, optical storage changers, all kinds of cool stuff. In 2000 we sold the business and I went to work for a state agency pretty much as a one man IT department doing all the same sorts of things, trying to bring them up to speed (they were still using an IBM mini computer with a handful of green screen terminals). I did that for 16 years, then spent the last four at a semi major university as a systems administrator. One of my last tasks before retiring in October was the decommissioning of a beautiful 10 year old data center that had become obsolete and redundant. I spent a lot of time working alone on that gig, and thinking about what my 35 year IT journey had been all about.

Thank you for your well written thoughts, I could have sworn I was reading something of my own.

"If they survive." They won't, per se, but they'll shape shift into a completely different company we know nothing about and do it again.
