What type of trouble? Mine has never given me any problems, thankfully.

I have 10" and 14" .30-30 barrels.

Next up is a .45 ACP Contender barrel. I handload and want to try semi wadcutters for shits and giggles.

Most of the complaints I've read are with their semi autos. Their revolvers are pretty solid, at least in my limited experience.

Mine fall out with a finger nail assist, but I've never had a problem with the clips in either. Maybe just a Taurus thing. I've found that if the cylinder full of empties are in a clip, they'll just fall out all together unassisted if the cylinder isn't filthy.

I've had the 455 since before Obama was elected, and it's had a lot of hardball run through it. It does reload fast once you have the feel for it. I have 26 clips for it, but because it headspaces on the case mouths it can run without them no problem. The clips are just a great convenience.

I found mine on gunbroker.com, been buying guns there for years and have never had a problem.

I bought it after Hickok45 did a review. I've not had a single failure yet, but I must admit I've been hoarding ammo lately. The revolver is very good under these conditions.

Yep, like I said, they have their drawbacks but work well for my needs.

My EDC is a 1956 S&W .32 Long.

In a revolver using clips, loading can also be hampered if a bullet hangs up on a chamber mouth. FMJs tend to self align and drop right in every time. I also have a Taurus 905 (9x19) that exhibits the same preference. The Taurus star clips are a bit thin & flexible, holding the cartridges rather loosely. Unlike the old style thick steel moon clips, they don't have to provide for headspacing, can easily be loaded and unloaded without a tool, and are cheap & semi disposable. The downside is (again) that they're thin and flimsy, so FMJs just work best.

Thank you, I'm happy to give them a home and food.

It is also .45ACP and fits me really well.

I have several boxes of Critical Defense for them, but prefer the standard FMJ for positive feeding. Ball ammo in clips drop right into the Taurus in the dark easily. Neither of these are EDCs but home guns, and as such are back ups to a couple of 12 gauges with #4 Buck. Having said that, I use the 455 Tracker to hunt armadillos at night, and I do use surplus ball ammo on them. Extremely effective.

I attended my first Daytona 500 in 1968, and have been a lifelong fan. I live in the deep southeast, relatively close to a lot of great tracks. I am retiring October 31 of this year, and had fully intended to start attending four races a year at the tracks I loved growing up. I'll have the time and money to do it, and was looking forward to it. Guess what? I'll spend my money on the gun range or a boat instead.

I was thinking a round of sporting clays would be a hoot with no shot limit per pull.

You can't teach someone who doesn't want anything to do with you. I'm a Trump supporter, and he's anything but.

Almost the exact same situation here, except it was my grandparents and an older great uncle. We also raised poultry and for a short time hogs. My grandfather died on the job, and my uncle took a job in another state. My grandmother was a seamstress and we had a propane refilling station that I ran after school. She kept a large garden and chickens until the day she died. My son is absolutely ignorant about life and thinks I'm stupid, but he can't change his own oil.

It's okay, listening to the Martinsville race on MRN.

Georgia pede here. I had to vote democrat in the primary to get the right sheriff elected, so I voted for Amy Klobuchar (sp?) for pres. I voted for Bernie last primary, but wasn't doing that again. I'm a member of Operation Chaos without intent, just stuck in a weird part of the deep South that's die hard democrat, and they don't even know why anymore.
