I've gotten a jury duty notice from a county in SC at an address in GA 5 years after I moved. Not saying this was an oversight but its not impossible.

Before calling, think up something that would waste their time and keep them on the line as long as possible. While they are talking to you they aren't getting felons out of jail.

In GA employees can sue for almost nothing. It's your word against the company's when it comes to supposedly protected reasons. Not a lawyer but i've known exactly one employee who's successfully sued a company and thats because they were physically assaulted on the job.
