You really want to hurt the schools? Keep your kids at home on count days. In Michigan there are two a school year, one in October and the other in February. The school districts receive money based on the attendance of those two days. I can guarantee they will scream bloody murder if not enough kids attend on those days.
Stopped shopping at Kroger during the summer when they wanted customers to wait outside in the heat and sun because of the maximum number of people that could be in the store. When your big sellers decide that it's cheaper to open their own website or go to another platform, than deal with the $0.20 listing fees, 3.5% transaction fees, the advertising fees and so on; you've got a big problem.
I was considering getting on Etsy because of the massive amounts of traffic and the name, almost everybody has heard of Etsy, but I would run the risk of being a tiny, tiny store among all the other tiny, tiny stores. How can anyone compete with that?
