My take on vaccines is that there's a small % that something bad can happen. Maybe it's autism maybe it's death. But that % is so small that you're better off risking it because it's to prevent something much worse.
Except covid already has a 99% or 95% survival rate so at this point you might not want to risk .00025% chance of complication with vaccine for a 99% survival rate without it.
If covid had a 50% death rate then the .00025% chance of adverse reaction to vaccine starts to look better.
That's was always my take. Like any medicine it may have side effects which can include death from odd complications. But I'm also sure there is much profit from vaccines so that's why it's pushed so hard.

I remember reading about some process they used, I forget the name but I believe normally you need 60 votes but they did something to make it only a simple majority.
I THINK the catch of this process is that the Senators are allowed to vote on any amendments they want, where normally they just are voting on the entire bill.
