Don't get me wrong. I think the dems are fucking tools. But the rest of the world is doing a far better job of wearing masks and it is working. The US death rate is double or triple what we see in other first world countries. In places like Japan and Australia the death rate is just a fraction of what we have in the US.
Because masks are not 100% effective. And in my area, only about half of the people are wearing any mask, and many that are are just using cotton bandanas which are the least effective form of mask. You would need at least 80% of people wearing effective masks to see the spread slow down significantly.
It is almost as if wearing masks greatly reduces your chance of getting sick. Something weird seems to be going on with that.
