I've actually got some interviews going, I was looking to get out for a while. More than likely they figured it out and used this as a way to get rid of "dissent", they were all a bunch of "progressives" that shit on GEOTUS whenever they could, but had no issue watching their bankbook go up with his economy. In the meantime, they were super cheap, and after getting benefits we couldn't even do the 401k.
They actually asked me to get my daughter's prescriptions (she's got like 5) before the end of the fiscal year so that they wouldn't have to put it on the new budget. It was great being told that my family was the biggest financial burden to the company in medical benefits.
That's the thing, they're all like "we'll discuss bringing you back when this is over." I've been miserable there for the last year, it's almost a relief to not have to think about it.
We had some tucked away, but that got eaten by the clutch/tranny (heh.) repairs that had to get done. I'm good, for all intents and purposes, I was actually looking for a new place already. When none of the sales reps made bonus in 2019, I took that as a sign they were aiming a bit too high. I'll land on my feet.

This MSM bullshit just cost me my job, our occupancy (hotels) dropped, events cancelled, "hard decisions" had to be made. All over this bullshit, their attempt to get back at President Trump's successes. Now I'm out of a job, with a 2 week paycheck to show for 4 years of my life. Yeah, they're thinking that I'm going to blame GEOTUS for all this, and go running to the guv'mint for my handout, and I do have to go on unemployment, but this is a temporary thing. I make my own living, I don't take the handout longer than I need, if I can land a job quick and get back on my feet, on my terms, and earn my way the more better off I'll be. President Trump is working his damnedest to bring the US back to greatness, and I can help him do it in my own little way.
