I believe most Americans would disapprove of violence in politics as it stands right now. There are those on the left that would love nothing more than to use violence on conservatives. We shouldn't stoop to their level, let the centrists see how crazy and potentially dangerous lefties can be.

Exactly, it's the hysteria driving policy. Typically, masks are worn by those who are sick, not young, healthy individuals. And the CDC recommended masks. Not required. The governors have been in an absolute pissing contest with who can do more to "flatten the curve". They did the same thing with congregation of people. CDC recommended no more than 50 people, then all the governors said 40 people, then 30, then 10.
Did you ever call anyone a terrorist in the past for not wearing a mask during particularly bad flu seasons? I get its the coronavirus this time, but the principal is the same. Just as long as you don't go around coughing all over everyone or everything, there isn't anything immoral about choosing not to wear a mask. It started as a choice before tyrannical governors do what they do.

But isn't there the possibility that many cases go unreported because they are mild? Hopefully by the end of this, the death rate goes down to flu levels, especially with hydroxychlorquine treatments. The thought of having to get a mandatory vaccine for this spooks me a bit.

I wonder what these numbers are in other areas. I would be willing to bet there is not a huge discrepancy in deaths with lockdown vs. deaths without lockdown. The MSM is too stupid to ask such questions.
