open ballot mail, check the candidate. if it's the opposing candidate, shred it. if it's the favored candidate, collect it and drop it off at any ballot collection location because there's no chain of custody required.

very naive to think that hungry people won't come and take your food...

we should be cheering these idiots on. they're finally, but slowly, necking themselves. and voting democrat after they die won't matter because they were already voting dem while still alive.

that's cool. we're stockpiling guns and ammo. everyone else can stockpile our food.

already ahead of you. it's just time consuming outside of sales to push and enforce meaningful KPIs that are tough to game. and sales is fine, they've always been cutthroat in punting people who don't perform. and as to the point above (useless managers and idiot anchors), sales is entirely flat under the VP of sales.

6 of my teams are mostly R&D and i'm a ball buster, so the number of coasters on my teams are pretty low, but i've definitely been pushing an inquisition and it's exposed people. the most common example from my division is middle managers or senior non-management claiming to be doing or managing things "across teams" and then it turns out they're not actually doing anything for any team.

but operations and ops support have exploded in the number of people doing fuck-all-nothing. they might do a client setup, and then nothing else... after the client setup, they do nothing again, when there's a huge list of operational tasks they're supposed to be doing on those clients.

If you’re not saving costs or generating revenue at least equal to what you’re getting paid, then you’re fired.

you're right on the cut costs or generate revenue issue... i'm shocked the number of people in the world who have no idea that they're overhead. but the metric isn't about being equal... it's 4x to 20x depending on their division and role and location. most employees don't realize they cost companies quite a bit more than the employee's actual pay -- taxes, office space, paid benefits, and fringe benefits. depending on the business and city/country, it's even as high as 2x of your paycheck. we looked into opening an office in arlington VA in the DC metro area and direct/indirect taxes are fucking huge. if you bring in only "equal" to your pay, you're net negative, and if equal to the company cost, still the problem the parent comment was talking about, slowing the company down because someone has to manage you just to generate net zero.

they-see-me-trollin 12 points ago +12 / -0

fact.

we're doing a pruning in my company right now (i'm a partner). it doesn't even have anything to do with the recession. numbers are great. it's that as all this shit is going on, and growth has had little correlation with headcount. we've increasingly realized there are:

  • a shitload of people who get nothing done at all,
  • a large amount of people who get nothing done unless someone is spending their entire time shouting to get stuff done,
  • people who do nothing other than shouting at others to get stuff done,
  • and then people who actually get stuff done without anyone having to constantly look over their shoulder every minute telling them what to do, but it often takes them longer because they have to coordinate with others who didn't do shit, or didn't do it right.

only the last group actually wants to be here. just dump all of the first 3 groups. not joking, HR is not under me, so i don't see all their inner workings, but i found out two weeks ago our HR department got large enough that they hired a person just to manage in-person after-work happy hours. we're in 7 major cities across 5 countries, hundreds of employees, but what the fuck? i fired both of them.

it's like schools are teaching this dumb shit, or people are getting indoctrinated from stupid forbes/inc/fastcompany university of management bullshit on social media on the worst ways to run a business. everyone wants to set policies rather than do actual work.

um, excluding MDs (because they were coerced to get the jab), studies consistently showed vaccine hesitancy is highest in people with JDs, MBAs, and technical degrees. vaccine hesitancy was lowest in people with non-technical degrees, especially non-technical graduate and postgrad degrees, even lower than people only with high school education.

in other words, the science showed non-technical people are useful idiots who did what they were told. the people who actually have technical knowledge and critical thinking skills are largely still purebloods or they had to be coerced.

US soccer got what they deserved.

the women's team sued and demanded the men's deal. US soccer was dunking on them hard in court, "offered" the men's deal. then the women's team immediately rejected it, and proceeded to negotiate for a wildly better deal than the men's team, which, using accounting bullshit actually gives women a cut of the men's revenues.

US soccer should have said both teams get the same exact terms and anything less is unlawful discrimination.

they let these tantrum throwing whiners walk all over them. they got what they deserve.

yeah, historically coronaviruses and many other seasonal viral infections were counted generically in the "flu season" even if they weren't actual strains of influenza.

and for the bulk of the "pandemic", any death remotely involving any respiratory distress was categorized as covid, even if it was influenza, pneumonia, gunshot wounds, or motorcycle crashes.

this whole thing was a con.

2
they-see-me-trollin 2 points ago +2 / -0

the entire scamdemic was an exercise in the masses' inability to see through counting cons.

the "covid deaths" number is not "deaths from covid" but "deaths involving possible covid". it took a LONG time for normies to even open up to this, but the NY gov got trapped in an interview and admitted on video that the "covid deaths" number overstates covid deaths by at least 75%.

the "excess deaths" number is an estimate on top of an estimate that they admit double counts causes of death, right on the CDC website. two years later and the CDC still won't release official death counts, only provisional non-atomic estimates.

historically, and this is one of the biggest cons... coronaviruses were already counted in the flu death tolls. instead, ALL deaths potentially involving a respiratory illness were now labeled covid, influenza was now separated, and it fell to near zero worldwide. when you account for the double counting of excess deaths (which sweden and a few other countries do), and go back to the prior definition of "flu season deaths" that still includes coronaviruses, 2020 wasn't even a top 5 death death tolls of the last 20 years. for most countries it was in the 5-10 range.

it's funny, after people started doing that in the US, many buybacks now put a cap on the number of guns, or stopped allowing compensation for 3D printed guns. the entire concept of a "buyback" is just dumb.

the reason why people mock them is because french history is littered with incidents of large percentages of frenchies putting down their weapons and letting invading troops take over Paris without even so much as a verbal argument.

2
they-see-me-trollin 2 points ago +2 / -0

actually seen this at gun shows. it'll be WWII memorabilia tables, and they'll usually have a luger and a few other pieces of gear. if they have a french firearm, it always says "never fired" but you have to inspect it for drop damage.

in college when someone new would come out with the group and say they're vegetarian/vegan, we'd ask why. if it was anything short of the fraction of 1% of people who are allergic to animal proteins, we'd order another plate of chicken wings and eat it in front of them.

here's a modest proposal so democrats can prove that gun bans improve safety...

as gun crime is very common in blue cities in blue states, they can be a simple test bed of the policy so democrats can prove it works. so how will it work? it's simple...

  • we'll run this test for 10 years.
  • we'll start with chicago, and designate it a "gun ban success zone". if gun crime falls to zero, their plan works, and we can expand the pilot to other cities.
  • in every "gun ban success zone", the minimum mandatory sentence for firearm possession within 50 miles of a blue city will be summary execution for the perpetrator. no 20 years on death row. get caught carrying a gun, and the cop issues the punishment immediately.
  • there must be some level of accountability too. so every single time there is a gun violence victim within one of these "gun ban success zones", a democrat politician will be summarily executed. start with democrat governors, attorney generals, and members of congress.

there's been 57 gun homicides in chicago alone this year. so democrats can start the buy-in any time they want by executing every single democrat in the senate, and then some.

this. it has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with totalitarian control over every second of your life.

if it had anything to do with safety, they would have called in the national guard and declared martial law to stop crime in all these shithole inner cities. instead, they issue stand down orders to run up death tolls, they release criminals caught red handed, and are happy to delay or drop charges against murderers who have been repeatedly picked up on catch and release.

even more retarded, the female lawyer simply quoted Ruth Bader Fucking Ginsberg. not joking, RBG extensively and repeatedly stated Roe v Wade was decided incorrectly, it was bad law with swiss cheese foundation, and simple 10th amendment cases would topple it. it wasn't even some hidden gotcha... she was fucking published in multiple academic law journals saying this repeatedly since the 80s.

there are few things that have gotten me more disgust and contempt IRL from showing how RBG utterly dismantles modern leftists' low IQ hot takes... that in her final days RBG was struggling more and more every year on the bench, because as leftism took an extreme turn, justices on the bench were bending over backwards to twist political outcomes, and the mental gymnastics were getting worse and worse in every case.

it further angered leftists that this lawyer stated undisputable facts on the racial history and origin on abortion. planned parenthood is by far the largest abortion provider in american history, it was founded by margaret sanger, and the record unequivocally shows that sanger's entire intention of pushing abortion was to exterminate blacks at the source when eugenics became illegal. sanger intentionally developed strategies to roll out abortion targeting black communities, working with black pastors to promote abortion specifically in black communities, all to exterminate as many blacks as possible. and she even said in writing that they "don't want the word to get out" of their plans.
