I've been going to the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa a lot lately. Mask usage there is recommend but only required indoors. NBD because everything is outside. I'd say 80-85% of the people there are not wearing masks. Nobody takes this seriously, and that's Tampa, which is pretty liberal. My little slice of heaven is 5x more conservative and nobody cares at all.

They were such a popular unit because of the support of famous people like Frederick Douglass that they actually turned people away if they weren't fit enough. They were also very well equipped because many people donated to their local troops and the 54th had rich people (like Douglass) supporting them.
The biggest crime of this movie is the portrayal of Colonel Montgomery. This man is shown as a mega racist, who even shoots his own man for touching a white lady. James Montgomery was a Jayhawker who fought with John Brown and Harriet Tubman and literally killed slavers in Kansas.
What a travesty for what they could have done to honor these amazing men, but instead had to push this "Racist USA" narrative.

Being in Florida we have a lot of Cubans and I remember a pastor from Cuba being 100x more spiritually on fire and not wishy washy trash and that was through an interpreter. It made me wonder what the deal was, so I started googling the sermons and found them, with outlines that an idiot could preach. Our pastor uses these exclusively, and if you listen to the mega pastor who wrote it, it's literally word for word.
I figured praying and reading with my family was more productive than this dog and pony show.
I left my church for this, among a few other reasons. Discovering the lead pastor was lifting sermons from YouTube word for word was the ultimate reason, but the constant leftist lens they had on everything was grinding.
