I remember reading after Hurricane Katrina it was WalMart who initially sent disaster relief supplies/equipment to FL but then whit it shifted track and hit NOLA, the were able to get everything from FL to NOLA before FEMA even showed up in many cases.

The left crucified Trump when he drew in the hurricane map and discussed a worst case scenario. If he were in office I have no doubt he would have had planned for the worst and hoped for the best mobilizing every resource he could as soon it began, not days later.

A few of my lefty friends who were jumping for joy a few weeks ago have gone oddly quiet in the last few days.

So heroic! Worked 4 hours in a climate controlled building making frozen pizza, while electric workers and others probably woken 12-16 hrs for the last 5 days outside.

It was posted by someone else are here and I just happened to bookmark the link. Honestly, I didn’t even know he had the Townhall until someone posted his “cultural differences” remark here

I believe it was a different storm, I remember hearing about that as I was too far south in Connecticut to feel much of an impact. I believe it was part of the blizzard of 96, I know we have pictures of it however the family photo albums are with relatives out of state.

The worst one I experienced was around Halloween in 2011. We got a foot and a half or more of some of the heaviest snow I’ve ever experienced. At the same time, we had a warm fall and I would say 80% of the trees leaves were still on. This led to absolute devastation of tree branches, entire trees taking down both residential delivery lines in the high-voltage transmission lines. Look at a map of Connecticut and picture everything north of I 84 up to I 90/mass pike losing power for at least 24-48 hours minimum. We lost power for a little over nine days in that storm, luckily we were prepared and had a generator So we could keep the heat going, fridge cold etc.

After about 10 to 12 hours we lost Internet and phones for 3 to 4 days until The local cable and phone companies brought in out-of-state crews to begin putting generators out at their equipment.

I was just going to say that. It didn’t change no matter what the weather was. with that slight drop, which I’ve read was due to the safety systems shutting down one of the reactors. Supposedly it was a sensor that tripped because of the cold and nothing was actually wrong with the plant. It just goes to show you how safe and will monitor those are the at the slightest thing that could be wrong they will shut down until the issue can be fixed.

Looks like they might’ve fired up or increase the output on some coal fired plants as well, and those have been steady as well for several days in a row.

Probably didn't want to crash their site. Twatter can handle it, not so much the others without planning.

Trump made a comment about that on a interview tonight. Basically Twitter could handle all the traffic while Gab and others might not.

I remember in the mid 90's, 1996 IIRC, we had bad blizzard and lost power for 24+ hours in CT. At the time no generator and never had a toilet freeze or pipe freeze, even pipes on the outside walls.

That bag looks like it does even less than a mask as I can see the damn instrument thru it.

The "What the Fuccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!" screams when the feds can out and flash banged them and the tear gas them was always hilarious.

I've missed the drums, incoherent screaming, and infighting as they scream "FUCK' at everyone.

He talked about thing they planned on doing last I heard, but noting they actually did.

I bet he would have been monitoring it before it got bad and at least had things like fuel, generators, NG, water, etc staged and ready to go.

Almost every store is boarded up, closed or appears to have all the merchandise removed. What a shit hole city.

He made that point on-air as well. Normally after CNN or someone reported on what they heard he said, but never bothered to actually to listen themselves.
