Yep I live in this state. If you don't toe the psycho progressive line you're automatically a bigot. Every political debate is started by Trump hating coworkers, they provide no evidence, facts or data and understanding of issues is headline deep. Then when I respond with an opinion that's informed they always pivot to "try bring more open-minded" or some equivalent tautology. You can't argue with them, they are simply too uninformed and ignorant and their political stances are trivially flawed. But hey as AOC says "rather be morally right than factually right!"

I'd agree that ideally that would be the case. However there is no way that works right now or the near future, so the best step to take is try to make sure people that share our values have meaningful input in the system we do have. I'm going to continue homeschooling either way.

Well yeah that's why we homeschool. But acting like the school system is not worth attempting to fix is defeatist and a long term losing strategy. You pay taxes for it, it shouldn't be activily training the next generation to hate themselves and you.

This is great. I was hoping that having this amazing option (thanks mods!) doesnt translate to a mass exodus on reddit. We need to continue taking the fight to them. This site is a safe space to enjoy a good time with like minded people, but reddit and other main stream sites are the front line in the culture wars and we need to stay active in that battle.
