I'm voting for Trump but come on, you don't think he's trying to set up a dynasty for his children?

They've lost the plot so badly that their remaining core constituency consists solely of transsexuals and transsexual allies.

Fun science fact: face masks offer the same level of protection from bullets as they do from coronavirus!

Where does the lizard person meme come from and what is it supposed to mean? Is it a code word for Jews?

You could argue he's a little fat, but for a man in his mid-70s the extra weight gives him a more robust appearance since so many people his age have already begun turning thin and frail.

Trump: If you fuck around with us, we are going to do things to you that have never been done before.

Growing up I would have never thought I would hear a president say something like that in an interview.

I was even shocked when Joe Biden told Trump to "shut the hell up" in the debate. At some point the Democrats will be replaced with populists, and then political debates will be full of obscenity-laden shit talking and the delicate language of diplomacy will have died forever.

This is the legacy of the social media era. On the one hand it is refreshingly honest, but on the other it has an air of Idiocracy to it.

The sudden and dramatic loosening of the standards of decorum has me feeling a little bit old and out of place. This definitely does not feel like the same era in which I came of age.

I think there are hard-core ideologues who can't be reformed, but their rank-and-file supporters could be distracted from the revolutionary struggle, so to speak, if their economic prospects start improving.

In places like New York a lot of the economic pressure comes from property values. Rich people from all around the world park their money in New York City real estate because US corporation law makes it easy for foreign nationals to hide assets from the tax authorities in their own country.

Stuff like this is the exact opposite of America First policy, but it benefits the tax collectors and real estate agents in the big US cities so it is allowed to persist.

Is she in Maspeth? All the Chinese from Elmhurst are making their way across Queens Boulevard and settling in Maspeth too.

A lot of people here likely think there is "a Chinatown" in New York City. In reality there are at least three of them: Manhattan Chinatown, Flushing/Elmhurst in Queens, and Sunset Park Brooklyn. Each of them would be a small city in its own right were they not in the middle of New York City.

Those homeowners in Maspeth are sitting on million-dollar assets and they look forward to cashing out one day and living like kings in Florida. They don't want to risk it.

The people burning the flags are most likely renters, and their rent takes up a huge chunk of their income. They will never afford even a modest house because even a modest house costs over a million dollars in Queens. They feel they have less to lose.

Those are the dynamics of large city life in the US. How do you get people to choose armed conflict over a seven-figure golden retirement? How do you get people invested in a life they can scarcely afford?

Ideologies are window dressing, at the end of the day it always comes down to economic self-interest.

"mr. president, please don't let them turn you into a police state loving cuck like what they did to boris johnson and bolsonaro after they got the china virus."

Yeah this is what I've been most scared of since last Friday. Pray to God it does not come to pass. The Tweet was very reassuring!

I thought we were all in agreement that people shouldn't try to stop a car like that.

People are still trying to establish the facts when the guy making the arrest has POLICE written on his uniform in huge letters?
