Those facts don't offend me, Strawman Steve. Your conclusion drawn from those facts in the face of all other evidence about the man offends me. You can deal with that dissonance however you like.

This is my post. It's my thread. Playing nice with and working with Communists does not make one a communist anymore than jesus playing nice with and working with sinners made him a sinner. If all you have is that, you have dick.

King's religion, his ethics, his patriotism, they're all tied together. You can't sparse them out. You can't say "I'm not talking about his religion, just his communism." His religion was anti-communist, he says that himself. You didn't even read my post, man. Why are you even talking until you do that?

Here. I found it for you. Chew on this:

Now certainly, we can never give our allegiance to the Russian way of life, to the communistic way of life, because communism is based on an ethical relativism and a metaphysical materialism that no Christian can accept. When we look at the methods of communism, a philosophy where somehow the end justifies the means, we cannot accept that because we believe as Christians that the end is pre-existent in the means.

Yeah. Congress is always honest, right? Can you tell me who Perilloux was? What his credentials were? He's just trying to make King guilty by association, best I can tell. Looks like a postmortem smear job. Have you read King's words? Did you even read my post? I squinted and read your little newspaper copy from someone who doesn't even turn up in a google search. Why do you believe this guy? Can you confirm his claims? And even if you could, how bad were those claims, really?

Ridiculous.

I'm informed. I read your drivel. I responded. You didn't answer my questions though. Is what's good for the goose not good for the gander? Did you read my entire post? Can you read that man's words and determine he wasn't a good Christian, and a good American?

I read it. Seems this John S. Perilloux guy is trying to make King guilty of association and can speak to little else. I've searched this guy's name. What makes him qualified to speak on MLK at all? What are his credentials? What connections did he have to King? Because none seem to be mentioned here. Why do you believe him--do you even know who he is? All it says is that he's from Hawaii. What would some guy from Hawaii know about MLK? Reads like a good old fashioned Deep State postmortem smear job to me.

And I have a question for you: did YOU read my entire post? Did you give MLK a chance by daring to even look at his words? If you did, could you not feel the Spirit of God as you did? If not, how the hell not? What kind of communist would preach Jesus all the livelong day? What kind of Communist would say communism is bad? Sure he said our country was guilty of excessive military violence but everyone on this site says that. How can you read an MLK speech and not feel moved to be a better, more loving, more Christ-like person?

Can an evil tree bring forth good fruit?

So worked with? Yeah I'm still ok with that. As you can see from his statements above, the man was pro-democracy and anti-communist and hyper christian. He would work with people from across any aisle who acted in good faith. Even if they didn't act in good faith he'd try. As he said "through love...we can make other men better."

I really don't get your beef with him. It's like you heard somewhere that he was evil and since it was one of the first interesting things you heard about him, you're sticking to it, despite all evidence to the contrary. If you would condemn MLK for his associations would you not condemn Jesus? Donald Trump met with, took pictures with, and likely made agreements with Kim Jong Un, Xi Jinping, the Pope, the Queen, Israel, etc. I doubt all of their hands are clean. That didn't stop Trump from meeting with them and looking to make deals with them. Do you condemn him for that?

"Interesting you went to hate like racism and MLK did too."

Does that sentence make sense to you? It sounds like you're calling racism a person.

Anyway. You're the one who just lumped all black people together and expressed apathy for them. You call that whatever you will. Doesn't seem very Christian to me though.

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

I agree but in the 1960s it was a very easy way to smear someone as most people back then did find it quite shocking and scandalous.

If you can read MLK's speeches, and not feel the spirit of God moving you, you might be dead. Or a satanist. MLK was a true Christian through and through. While I wouldn't think any less of him if in fact he did step out on his marriage at times, something tells me that he likely never did.

tobeselfevident 2 points ago +2 / -0

It should, at the very least, be a reason to suspect the opposite. If you spend some time reading what MLK preached, you'll have no doubt that your suspicion is correct. There never was a light that came into the world that wasn't evil spoken of. MLK is no different.

KIng espoused economic justice in a very different way than someone today would espouse economic justice as it's defined today. As for the people he rubbed shoulders with, that was to be expected from a man truly desirous to understand others, who refused to hate others, and who truly wanted to bring about Christian change. Jesus "ate with publicans and sinners" too. And?

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

MLK was the furthest thing from an anti-white black supremacist. Nobody who has read his speeches would arrive at such a preposterous conclusion.

Malcolm X, sure. MLK, not in a million billion years.

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's all very sad if you ask me. I'm not fond of BLM either, but as MLK would say "fight incessantly against evil systems, but never hate those caught up in them."

You do you I guess.

tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

Seems like you could just say, legally, "You're going to have to fire me then because i won't agree to any unpaid leave."

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're a realist, sure. How the fuck are you still here. Mods??? The fuck do you have a no racism rule for if we report some fucking racist 50 times and you don't do anything about it? This guy is as shilly as they come. He wants one thing: for the whole site to look like racists. Fuck him and deport him, please. He's a cunt.

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

Your point is you're a racist. You point out facts that all of us are already aware of but you toss them about willy nilly with no suggestions or deeper thought behind them. You're a fucking clown and should have been deported by now. Maybe the mods are asleep.

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

Facts strewn about for no apparently reason are pointless. You're a fucking prick. We're all aware of the statistics but what point are you trying to make by bringing them up other than to prove you're a fucking racist and to make the whole site look racist too? Fuck. Off. Glowie.

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm not unaware of those statistics. And it's entirely possible that IQ plays a role in that. But who cares? If you can't change someone's IQ then why bitch about it? We'd be much better off acknowledging those statistics and then asking ourselves what we can do to help curb the behavior. If you choose to bitch about something people can't change, you're just a fucking asshole. If you want to propose some ideas of things we as a society can do to reign in crime in black communities, I'm all ears. Quit being a bitch hack and contribute something of value or gtfo.

1
tobeselfevident 1 point ago +1 / -0

As I said, I don't care if it's true. The point is bringing it up contributes nothing. You're a racist faggot and you need to fuck off this site. Your racist bullshit is divisive. By that definition you're definitely a liberal glowie because you're the only one looking to create division. We want black people in our cause. We have many of them. We want many more. Shut the fuck up about race and IQ.

tobeselfevident 0 points ago +1 / -1

I don't even care if the 70 IQ shit is true. It's pointless. Your need to constantly bring it up shows what you are to me. I hope the mods deport you as I've reported you again. You're an actual racist. So you're likely not actually one of us. Fuck you and fuck off.

Faggot is a beautiful word. So is pussy. There are simply no good substitutes for those words. Women and gays can cry into their pillow cause I'm gonna keep calling straight guys I hate pussies and faggots.

Most don’t know that the Mormon community split in Wisconsin.

I think you mean "most don't know that the Mormon community in Wisconsin split." The Mormon community was never based on Wisconsin.

The Voree plates are connected with the Book of Mormon and Kabbalah.

How?

What is Qabalah?

It's occult mysticism. Why do you ask?

Strang was the claimed successor to Joseph Smith who was crowned “King of Heaven and Earth” on an island in Lake Michigan.

Again, your wording is weird. "Strang was the claimed successor to Joseph Smith" can mean different things. I think it helps to clarify that Strang claimed to be Joseph Smith's successor. Nobody else was claiming that. And he crowned himself.

Again, I'm not sure what you're driving at.

Who did Joseph Smith claim to be?

He claimed to be God's prophet, chosen to restore the teachings and authority Christ supposedly gave to his apostles. Again, why do you ask?

What was written on the sealed plates?

Well, nobody knows, probably because they don't exist, but it supposedly had a complete record of the vision that God gave to Mohonrimoriancumr (AKA, the Brother of Jared) in which the entire history of the world was revealed.

Again, why do you ask?

Who made a play about the Book of Mormon?

Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez. Why?

What was Avenue Q?

A Sesame Street parody play written by the aforementioned Robert Lopez. Why do you ask?

What happened with Warren Jeffs?

Lots of things. What are you asking here specifically? He's currently serving a life sentence for aggravated sexual assault of a minor. Why do you ask?

What was the Second Great Awakening in Finger Lakes?

It was the Christian revival period in upstate New York where Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, claimed to have been visited by a resurrected Christian prophet from ancient America named Moroni. Why?

Mitt Romney knows about the Voree plates.

I'm sure he does. Most Mormons over 40 do. They just don't believe they were real. Why bring this up?

So does Paul Ryan his running mate who grew up near Voree in Janesville, Wisconsin.

I guess he might, but he's not a Mormon or a Strangite I don't think so what are you driving at here exactly?

Mitt was named after his father’s cousin who was quarterback of one of the first NFL teams - Racine Legion. They are now the Arizona Cardinals.

I mean that's a fun fact, but why does it matter?

Racine, Wisconsin and Arizona are closely connected in many ways. Rigging the election is one of them.

Ok. What are some other ways? Cause you could say that about every state in the country. Elections were rigged everywhere, why should I care about the connection between Racine, Wisconsin and the state of Arizona specifically?

None of this is a joke.

Ok but...what the hell is it?

I loved Shiva's data. But again, he used the wrong presentation format. He should have pimped his credentials first, which the one guy pointed out after the fact and asked him to go over it again. After pumping his credibility he should have listed his key, most shocking points, and he should have listed them in order of shock value, the most shocking first. And then gone through and shown how he arrived at those numbers. That would have been much more engaging and persuasive.
