As far as I know, the yellow vest movement has slowed to a halt (covid?). But the government has done nothing to improve the situation. I expect them to wake up soon enough.
This second lockdown is more impopular than the first, and I know that shop, bar and restaurant owners are really disgruntled.

I think a threshold has been passed. Macron was forced to do something to "look tough", but it is clearly not enough, and will be forced to apease muslims. He is doing the splits... As for the climate, I can't really tell. People feel powerless, sad, hopeless, but it was the case way before the attacks, and probably due to the fudged up economics (middle class being destroyed). Terrorism is just the icing on the cake.
But I'm starting to see an awakening. Let's hope for the best :)
