After Rush updated his audience on his cancer prognosis on air Savage tweeted this: Limbaugh’s crying about his cancer on air! Worst 15 minutes in radio history! Spilled a large coffee all over counter and floor. I PROMISE MY AUDIENCE THIS- I WILL NOT DRAG YOU DOWN WITH ME! Best wishes RUSH, but stop and leave the stage with dignity.
Savage is a complete scumbag who deserves the nearly zero attention that he gets these days. If you go and look at his most recent podcasts, you’ll see that the day after Rush’s death, Savage said nothing about what Rush did for talk radio. He didn’t even acknowledge Rush’s death. Instead he did a whole show about how horrible marijuana is for this nation. Meanwhile, he did a whole show tribute to Larry King the day after he died. That should say everything about what team Savage is playing on.
If you like Savage’s show, that’s fine. I used to listen to it almost daily. But you will eventually grow tired of his contempt for everything and everyone.

Saving this comment. Very well put. Before Rush you had conservatives, but they were guys like William F Buckley who no one could understand. Rush made sense of the complex like no other.
He changed the course of history by being the only wide-reaching voice that spoke out against the American left. Yeah, other voices came after him, but none of them would have existed if it wasn’t for Rush. He will be spoken of as a thought leader as important as Ben Franklin was to the American story.

That post you are talking about comes from an account that is constantly posting stuff like that. At least half of the time that you see a post like that, it is going to be from that user.
He goes by diversityisgay. He has a way of wording things to sound like they are MAGA so he gets easy upvotes from the casual passerby. But when you actually look at what he is saying, it has nothing to with anything that Trump or the MAGA movement stands for.

We have been in it pretty much since Trump got elected. There is a dumb notion that it is going to play out like our first Civil War, where a collection of states secede and their militaries duke it out. That is not how it will work. About 50% of the country and government seceded following the election of DJT. The right despised Obama, but they tolerated him for 8 years for the sake of not destroying the country. The left did not do the same when Trump got elected. They declared war. They created their own nation with its own set of laws. And they fed their minions propaganda to fuel their war effort. Just because there are no organized battles does not mean this is not a war. They have killed many of us, destroyed property, and chastised us as their mortal enemy. This already is war.
