Bernier was on track to win the Conservative leadership until the liberals had the Diary lobby buy up conservative memberships and vote for Sheer instead. It was all rigged at the convention. They even threw out the ballots before they could be verified.
I see this all the time, too, including in my own family. So many Canadian conservatives are just Democrats at heart. I don't understand it at all.
If the Conservatives I know start ranting about Trump I just mention something about Trudeau and at least they switch to ranting about him, instead.
