If companies that by screen time for ads found that the TV channel have no viewers, then they would not waste their time buying screend time to air their ads.

Had a family boomer that told us aboutis twenties. His family had noting with their name and pretty much lived day by day. Once he graduated from high school he joined the guard to postpone the draft, ended up doing guard full time and started to take night class. Said going to class after work was always interesting because even if he was in civilians, student protesters would always spot him on campus and protest at him for the Vietnam war. He said night school took him eight years to finish his degree.
