Absentee ballots are mail-in ballots though, they are the same. Even according to vote.org. There is no difference between requesting an absentee ballot because you are not in your home state VS requesting one because you do not want to go to a polling station due to the pandemic we're currently facing. This is what I meant by an "excuse", which is being expanded in the midst of the pandemic.
So can you educate me on the functional difference, or point me to a resource that clearly lays it out that I can share with my family when push comes to shove, if that isn't asking too much.
I want to have this iron-clad so that I don't falter when this shit gets brought up ad nauseum by my liberal family, because I know it will
Hasn't Kayleigh McEnany used Absentee/Mail-In ballot voting extensively (for 10+ years)? Or is what she's referring to different somehow.
Talking about either honestly, but was initially referring to the Presidential election. I'm voting in TN.
I'm actually really interested in this. I looked into it some after your first comment and if you could send me some links I'd be interested in reading further. From what i can find, Vote-By-Mail, where the ballot is automatically sent to residents, is only used in a handful of states, and 33 states allow absentee voting without an excuse.
Seemingly all Absentee voting is in fact done by "mail-in ballot" and there is no functional distinction other than that of requiring an excuse. The concern seems to lie in states that generally do not conduct a lot of "Absentee/Mail-In" ballot traffic having the capabilities to deal with this new influx during the pandemic.
If you could send me some links as to how this is "willy nilly" and "can't be contained" I'd love to dig into this to shut down my liberal family who can't stop talking shit about the November election during these fucking riots.
Your first link, that very site, defines the absentee ballot as "mail-in voting"?
https://www.vote.org/absentee-voting-rules/
What are you talking about exactly, in calling them different things?
Don't you mean in her ass!? HAHAHA
Trump is actually against mail-in voting sorry, too much fraud. What can you do when the libtards are skewing the results lol
Thanks man, I appreciate that. It's 3AM here but in the midst of the riots that are currently rocking my city I got a text from my old boss who pointed me here. I didn't know about this site but am glad to find it now, kind of drunk and pretty angry. Hope you're well in PA brother.
