The main goal of the left is to stay in power. That goal forms the basis for everything they stand for, and is the main consideration when making policy decisions. They don't care whether something is good or bad for the country, as long as it will lock in future democrat votes from groups of people. For example, forgiving student loans will ensure that college students and grads will vote democrat (at least until their loans are paid off), as well as anyone working in higher education because it enables universities to keep inflating prices and lining their pockets. Passing LGBT legislation ensures the vote of all LGBT. Amnesty guarantees millions of future votes, and it's no coincidence that Biden wants to lower the time from 13 to 8 years, which will be just in time for all those new citizens to vote for his replacement. Everything they do benefits one special interest group and is detrimental to the vast majority of us. But those groups will vote just to get the one part that benefits their group.

I am not sure, but I'm very concerned. The one thing I am sure of is that Joe Biden does not care about this country and does not care about what is best for Americans. All he cares about is power and money for himself. Rescinding Trump's ban on allowing foreign countries to invest in or own parts of our bulk power system electric equipment is extremely suspect, considering the controversy surrounding Hunter's ties to Chinese and Ukrainian energy companies who allegedly pay him for influence and access to Biden. It also allows those countries to take control over some or all of our power system, placing a huge threat on our national security. He is also doing everything he can to kill our economy and keep the pandemic fear propaganda to keep us locked down and vulnerable. In the process he has secured a fortune for himself and his family, while leaving the rest of us to rot in financial ruin under China's rule.

I'm hearing the republican senate will nearly unanimously vote against impeachment, and several will fight hard for him. I know of at least 1 dem senator planning to vote against it as well. I feel like this is going to backfire on the democrats, people are already pissed that they're wasting time on this instead of the stimulus Biden promised voters would "be mailed immediately." Who knows what else Trump may be able to expose in the process.

So you have to pay this every year until you have nothing left? Your assets will be reduced by 20-30% every year after you withdraw that much to pay the tax. Within a few years most people will be broke. And then there are those who have little to no cash savings, but have equity in their home. Where will they get the money to pay the outrageous tax on that equity? The consequences of such a radical tax is horrifying to think about.
