This is accurate. I posted in a comment a few days ago about it as well. When they reconvened on Jan 6, all of their speeches about domestic terrorism and comparing Jan 6 to Pearl harbor were prewritten and meant to be given in response to much more severe attack.
Just an FYI, the democrats were setting up this exact scenario. They kept pushing this idea that Trump would stay in the White House and steal the election and be a dictator. They did to take power away from Trump. They did it so they could control the narrative and limit what Trump could do after they stole the election. Make no mistake, they planned to steal the election and then accuse Trump of destroying democracy even when all of his claims of fraud were legitimate. They control the narrative. That's what the media does.

I didn't follow current events a year ago, or politics for that matter. Is this really what they claimed to impeach Trump for saying:

For four years, social media convinced America we just need to read headlines to be informed. After that it was easy. The media convinced America Trump's racist and his followers are racist, then they convinced everyone COVID is the worst thing since EVER, then they convinced everyone George Floyd was a saint, then they convinced everyone Trump personaly killed hundreds of thousands of Americans with his COVID policy, then they convinced America there was no fraud (most secure election ever--high five!). Headlines, headlines, headlines.

Well, that's not entirely true. I got out. I was convinced Trump was a joke but then near the end of the summer I started to follow the news to prepare for the election and realized he's not a joke, he's just the butt of a terrible joke that stems from willful and blissful ignorance.
They have to get to the person through the mail before the person can vote. Even if they drop the completed ballot off in a drop box, it was still mailed to them to begin with. What they mean by 300,000 unprocessed ballots is those ballots were never mailed.

Don't get me wrong. I think the media is 100% (main stream and big tech) all in on the steal, but I don't believe that many politicians are. I think many of our reps and senators aren't that smart, or at the very least not well informed. They still rely on the media to tell them all the news. If the media is telling them all of the fraud is debunked, then it's debunked. If Trump's own team (Wray or Krebs? and even Barr) says no fraud, then why would any of our reps doubt that's true. The media insisted no fraud as did Trump's own administration. That's all it takes. Our reps don't have tens or hundreds of hours to figure this shit out. They rely on the media to do its job. The media isn't doing its job anymore, not fairly anyway.
Additionally, it's clear the media (again, mainstream and big tech) have changed our culture for the worse. By creating this messed up cancel culture they've scared our politicians enough to keep them in line. Very few are willing to say anything that doesn't fit the press's narrative because our reps are worried their own livelihoods and families will be canceled for any misstep. It's sad, really really sad.
Everyone here saw how quickly the media denied the fraud. That was all done w/o investigations. They even cut off the president in the middle of one of his press conferences. No investigations. No checks. Instead we get the media telling us their truth, what they've wanted for the last four years, which is to cancel Trump. It's absurd.
Anyone not reliant on the media could stand back, look at the situation, and realize our politicians politicized COVID for their own gain because the ends justify the means, right? Go back and watch Trump's 2020 State of the Union address. He lays out all his accomplishments, but his biggest and best was first: the economy. The top dems knew the only way to bring Trump down was by bringing down the economy. That's what COVID did. Again, to the top of the DNC, it's all political. Kill the economy and blame all these deaths on Trump and it's a guaranteed victory in November. That's exactly what they did.
Propeled by unemployed adolescents, college drop-outs and burnouts, the riots over the summer set the stage for blaming Trump for all the racial injustice that exists in the USA (but just in our shitty big cities, right?). It all seemed like a big joke to me, but, hey, I don't watch TV or the news.
The media made hating Trump hip. They made loving Trump a cancelable offense. Damn near everyone, from our politicians to our superstar athletes to our pop stars to our academics to our media to even our family members, got in line with the only acceptable stance, put their masked faces down, and marched ahead.

I agree 100% with this. It seemed especially obvious when the senators and congressmen came back and gave their speeches condemning the violence.
It was so frustrating to watch. It's clear the Uniparty had a hand in letting everyone inside. They wanted the process to be interrupted so they could come back and pontificate about the assault on our democracy. Their speeches were such bullshit. They were all planned and prewritten and in response to an actual terrost threat, and yet the protestors were civil and orderly, escorted by officers of the law through the capital. The events didn't go as planned. The Uniparty expected more violence and destruction, but even without it they still stuck to the script.
Congress could retreat and then come back to tell the world Trump led an insurrection. It's the biggest bullshit I've even seen. Their speeches had to be prewritten. Hearing the protest be compared to Pearl Harbor made me want to fly there and drag Schumer's ass outside and hang him myself. Go motherfuckin' Pearl Harbor on his ass.
