The constitution states the legislatures of each state appoints the electors. SCOTUS cannot just invalidate the constitution and say states can’t appoint electors or invalidate them. SCOTUS can only tell them to appoint new electors of their choosing. IANAL.

They will vote for electors at some point. They are already calling it a sham election. It's not hard to vote Trump if you are asked to vote between a Biden elector and a Trump elector.
