Was in CVS yesterday and asked by cashier if I had a mask, I said yes...he said "can you put it on?" I told him I had a medical exemption and he rolled his eyes and went back to ringing things up.

I am starting to hate neighbors who voted blue, not just the elites. These people are voting for higher taxes and lockdowns, they want to be slaves, they want my children to grow up in a socialist nation. They have the opposite of US values.

I did flip out, it was at an Irish bar in Queens. My husband was embarassed and yelled at me about it later, saying that scolding people is not how to uplift them. That I need to give pep talks, not lectures. I'm more angry at defeatist conservatives than leftists though.

I donated to Trump, I donated to all 3 of my local candidates. I volunteered stuffing mailers and calling people. I organized a local conservatives club. I patiently waited through 8 months of lockdowns and cameras and having to fill out forms to go to a fucking restaurant. I worked a 16 hour day election at the polls wearing a stupid mask and watching my traditionally blue area go all republican...for this??
