If you can't vote by text and people thought they could than that is like hijacking those people's votes into oblivion? Also if people are aware of constraints on voting such as picture ID then how are they not aware that you can't vote by text? Just trying to make sense of this.

The worst thing about Bernier is that he is not as well spoken as others like Poilievre and he has in the past done things that aren't seen as conservative, like apparently during his PCP days he was quite the womanizer. However, the PPC platform is so remarkably like Trump's it's hard not to support it.
The name calling is really the sickening aspect of our politics, I mean, people will just hide and back down out of fear of being called nazis and racists or white supremacists. I don't see how we remedy this because we've already given the left that ground to stand on instead of actuslly debating and mocking them; that is to say, we've handed the discourse to the left, and now everything the right does has to be within the left's own discourse, which necessarily impedes a strong right wing. That's why, I think, as you say, somebody like Trumo would be great because it shows all those common and afraid people that you can say things, you can speak and use your voice, and you will survive the onslaught of bullying and name calling. Compounding this name calling now, however, is big tech ans censorship, not to mention the RCMP investigating tweets. It's a really tough situation for us, man.
