fraud.
Hey guys,
Going to preface this post by saying that dinner with my family last night got heated. My parents, brother. and my girlfriend are all Democrats and things got spicy last night when my dad started spewing baseless facts about trump being racist and stupid and dumb etc.
Naturally I got a bit annoyed and got on the defensive. It didn’t end well since I got quadruple teamed and essentially couldn’t get a word out so I ended up just being quiet. However, my girlfriend said she is open to listening more to my side and understanding why I align with the right. This is my opening to help her take some serious red pills.
Do you guys recommend any sources I can share to help bring her to the light? I don’t want to immediately send her here because I think she’s going to shoot this down without giving it a chance. Any help appreciated!
Im seeing all these MSM posts "inside Trump's Tulsa disaster" and I'm trying to understand what exactly happened? Was it actually only 6200 people? What about the hundreds of thousands of signups?
I guess I'm just confused.
Hi guys,
Bit of a long post. Closet Trump supporter here. Voted for him in 2016 and likely will again. I want to make it clear that I grew up in an Indian-American household. My parents came here in the 80s with absolutely nothing and have been able to build a successful business that has provided for me for my entire life. Being a minority, I always assumed the democrats had our backs. So up until I was 20ish years old, I was left-leaning, pro democrat.
However, going to a hyper-liberal college in NYC made me realize how delusional people were. Naturally, I started to identify less with democrats and more with republicans. I'm still pro-choice and definitely don't condone police violence towards African Americans. Being a brown-skinned individual, who knows, it could happen to me one day. I also don't necessarily agree with everything Trump does or says (sometimes his tweets are a bit out of control in my opinion) which I think is fine, but I'm with him most of the way.
I appreciate how he's not a politician and calls out the world. He virtually has no filter and his policies make sense for the most part, which is why I voted for him in 2016. However, in this crazy time of what's going on with the protests. I do wish his communication was a bit better and I do wish he was able to bring more people together. He's done a great job bringing this specific community together, but still, everyone I know hates his guts and blames him for all the issues. A lot of the "We have to vote trump out. this is all his fault" etc. etc.
I want to understand why everyone is so against him. Why they automatically think he's a racist and bigot (I don't think he is and don't see evidence pointing to his racism) And after understanding why, how can I help others understand, namely my girlfriend and my family? They all despise my support for him. I hate talking politics, but recently, my GF has been up to my ass about all this and keeps bringing politics into this.
Any help or knowledge or how I can start helping people see this community's view would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for reading!
