Silly thing is we just passed (within the last two or three years anyway) the deadline for states to meet requirements for their driver's licenses and ID's in order to assist with air travel. Every state had to rework their ID's to ensure safe air travel. Seems like an easy way to upload and check against a national voter database.

that cant possibly be legal after the fact. what stops anyone mailing in a ballot w/o a signature, then the person who the ballot is supposed to belong to is asked to sign it as needed days after the election has ended.

NC should be safe. they're holding off for slightly over 100k absentee votes that never got returned, and may never get returned. This is just the difference between the number of absentee requested and those returned. It's probable that alot of those were never sent back at all.
