I had a 2013 Mazda 3 w/SkyActiv, standard transmission and got around 37-40 consistently. Got totaled in a hailstorm.

Or as has been pointed out on here recently: Give $$ earmarked as 'aid' with the stipulation it's only for buying, for example, Acme water pumps. They overpay for the Acme water pumps, then Acme kicks money back to the legislator(s) who fit this aid package in the bill.

It's corrupt as fuck.

You perhaps unwittingly hit it on the head. The SCOTUS literally can not rule on a disagreement between states.. until there is standing.

Intentionally or unintentionally, it was a test run. And the OP highlights why we remain hopeful: the SCOTUS turned it around in light-speed time. They know.

I’ve been having the same thought as your OP. I thought the States injury claim was legit and well explained in the suit, but I think SCOTUS knows the directly injured party is coming up soon.

Bonus: we now know SCOTUS is paying laser focus attention to what’s happening. They turned this around at light speed for a few different reasons, all are good signs for us.
