Yeah you have to read the document a few pages in. They dont think the vote should move to legislatures or anything like that. But they want it to be made clear what the electors clause means and if state courts have the power to change how elections are handled.

Not exactly sure but it says "Ohio believes its brief would be of value to the Court’s decisionmaking process, and respectfully moves for leave to file." so I guess they're just informing the court that they dont have a strong opinion either way.

Ohio respectfully moves for leave to file an amicus curiae brief in support of neither party.

Look at the map of election results by county and how many states are red. Geographically vast majority of america is red, the majority geographically and the rural voters shouldnt have their voice ignored for the 1-2 large cities in each state nor should smaller states be ignored, we’re a republic not a democracy and the founders knew a majority ruling over a minority is tyranny. Also look at the balance of power in the US, the presidency, senate and house consistently flips every 4-8 years, if we have a good balance of power that works allowing everyone to be represented why would you want to do something that tips the balance and bring one party dominance.

They talk in the document why they thinks they’d be valuable to the court. One of the other attorneys are a staff attorney for the supreme court of alabama also.

Like the CNN panel with 5 dems and 1 republican and they all slam on the one dude. Or the Fox panels, the defendants are basically Juan from Fox's "the five"

Yeah you're right. I didnt necessarily mean join in the same manner, just that they similarly want to join the suit.

It means his legal team wants to join the lawsuit like the 17 states did I believe. Since the lawsuit was originally on behalf of Texas and not Trump.

Imagine if their lawyers are rogue trump supporters show up and just say "your honor(s) the defendents are guilty" start prosecuting their own clients and it becomes Texas, Mi, PA, GA, Wi v Mi, PA, GA, WI

Is this tweet related to the forensic auditing that started yesterday? Was this attorney associated with it?

Idk about this case. but I wouldnt say that. We see progress in Georgia, PA and MI today and have dominion machines being audited forensically among other things.
