Yep. Any state with coastline would be good. the rest would be better off forming large alliances like an Ohio River Valley nation, Midwest nation, or join up with TX, NY, FL, or VA.

My state, Kentucky, would need to bind together with other states to survive. A lot of coal, farms, but too little manufacturing. We'd need some more states to join, like Tennessee, Ohio, and Indiana.
