Here's the thing, this is bipartisan. Everyone is sick of this retard world we're living in. Everyone wants to fucking go back go normal life. The reason teachers are being twats about this is because they're the foundation of the movement for big government. The dream they're pushing for is a socialist utopia where everyone gets what they want and the government waves a magic wand to make everything perfect for everyone. And the government making them go back to work when there's still a .002% chance they might die flies in the face of their ideal where a benevolent government lead by their "good" guys will make them work.
It's not really an age thing, the music industry got all kinds of fucked up in the past 20 years. Practically all of the terrestrial radio stations got bought up by handfull of mega corps and they all play the same shit. Each station plays the same few songs on repeat and all the songs are so fucking mediocre that they'd be B-side tracks 20 years ago. It's kind of like how the movie industry became stale and just release boring movies that are either a remake or follow a familiar formula, less profits but less risk on something new and unproven.
There's people that say good music exists but you need to go find it but honestly it's kind of a lot of work sifting through everything online.
I work with a bunch of younger people from late teens to mid 20s and wanna know what's kinda crazy? They mostly listen to older stuff. Personally I got rid of the modern "alternative" rock station preset on my radio since it plays the same songs as the pop station anyways now and replaced it with the oldies station.
I hope this drives companies involved to beg for a bailout so I can watch the capitol try to explain why we're giving hedge funds free money and need to call the troops back after all sides shows up this time.
