I grew up watching Football, Baseball and Basketball. I'd wake up every morning for Sportscenter. I played fantasy sports religiously. Sports video games were the only games I played. Playing and watching sports was all I did outside of school and hanging with friends.
I haven't watched a sporting event outside of MMA in years. ESPN and pro sports were some of the earliest panderers. They showed that it was possible to make corporations bend the knee if you had a few people REEEE on social media.
