I think Europe is on it's way to another round of violent revolutions. There is only so much the people will take before they say no more.

Based on the current state of early voting I think he's wrong, but it will largely depend on whether Republicans in NY, NJ, CA and IL come out to vote in large numbers.

Personally I think there are enough people in these states who are extremely pissed off at the crap their governors have pulled with covid lockdowns and they will come out to cast protest votes, so I think Trump will win the popular vote.

Plus the fact, Trump needs to win the popular vote, and he needs to win it by a lot, so he can claim a mandate and push through his agenda in a second term.

Pro Tip: Go directly to foxnews.com or any other news site to get election information. You don't need to have your news filtered through FB.

The overall demographics of the population don't matter, nor do the percentages of who is registered. What matters is who actually votes. The older voting blocks consistently vote at higher rates than the younger voting blocks, so they should be 'oversampled' as you put it.

45-64 covers 20 years. The other groups cover 10 years, so clearly this group should be larger.

And, members of the 45-64 age group will definitely vote at a higher rate than the younger groups, so overall this doesn't seem to be off by much.

He won't get fired.

He's not paid for accuracy, he is paid for propaganda. He's doing his job well.

Someone get this guy a box of tissues. He's going to need it tomorrow night.

How exactly does this show Trump on pace to win the county?

What it shows is that the voter participation rate among Republicans in Miami-Dade is higher than the participation rate among Democrats so far (70% to 62%).

Democrats currently have a lead over Republicans in the county of 396k to 290k. Republican's are not going to win the county, but, Democrats do not have anywhere near the lead in this county that they need to win the state, so the numbers do look very, very good.

The only crisis is the destruction caused by governments locking down their populations.

Exit polls were wrong in 2000, they were wrong in 2016, and probably other elections. They suffer from the same basic problem that regular polls do. People don't tell pollsters the truth.

Make a list of everyone you know who supports Trump. Check them off after you know for sure that they've voted. Keep contacting them to make sure they vote. It's worth being a pita for the next 48 hours. There's too much at stake.

Why is this shit still going on in MI? The MI Supreme Court already said the governor has no more emergency powers. None of this is enforceable.

Majority of people are heavily tech challenged, for them going to anything besides Facebook or virtually impossible.

Sorry but anyone who is capable of going to FB is capable of going to any number of other sites, and frankly if they are too stupid to figure out how to use a different site so say what they want to say, then they probably shouldn't be saying anything at all.

Honestly, fired is not enough. Both of them should be investigated and if possible prosecuted for all of the damage they've cased to this country.

I really hope he is the first one to get fired after the election.

Stop the hyperbole. They are not purging every conservative on FB, and there are thousands of other sites where you can say your piece.

FB and Twitter will get what's coming to them after the election.

You are naive. Judges make law all the time. They shouldn't, but they do.

2
uvontheterrible 2 points ago +2 / -0

Dude, it does not matter what the court says. The legislature makes election law. If the law says it needs to arrive by election day then that's the law. Trying to change the law by executive fiat or by bringing the case before an activist judge is total bullshit.

The Republicans should fight this in every way possible.

People don't trust the NYT anymore. There is nothing they can say that will affect the race at this point.

I feel bad for people who live in NY. They need to start making better choices at the ballot box or life is going to get really, really bad.
